Ik was blij met Easy to get to. Pitches good size and well spaced out with EHU close to each pitch. Manager is fantastic, very helpful, chatty and so happy. Toilet/Shower facilities are spotless as well as the grounds. White Swan serves great food.

Ik was niet blij met Road noise, although that quietens down after 6.

Ik was blij met Fantastic location on the riverside with a great bar/restuarant. Flat pitches Plenty of showers and toilets. Water taxi to/from town is great every 20 minutes, which the dogs also loved. Also walking distance into town and a nice walk. Staff all happy and very friendly with lots of chatter.

Ik was niet blij met Pitches are tiny and I understand we went at the busy end of July week, it was full. The only view you get is the front/side/back of another van/caravan. I know they are standard size but we felt squeezed in. I thought "riverside" would have a view of the river but you need to book "riverfront" to get a a view. It was so cramped we left 2 days early which was such a shame given its location and otherwise a great site. Could do with some dog hooks outside the toilet/shower block which would be handy.

Ik was blij met Stayed on fully serviced gravel pitches. Well shaded which was a blessing in 25+ degrees. Pitches are very big and flat. Sam's bar with well priced drinks, huge playground next to it for the kids. Lakes dotted around kept clean (one unfortunately had dried up in hot weather). Goats. Nature walk around the full site, and 0.75 mile woth lots of fun facts to read around. Also a Den Building part around the walk. Grounds are immaculate. Shop on site for essentials. Powerful showers. Great location for some seeing. Stonehendge, Caen lochs, White Horse, Avebury henge and more, all within 30 min drive. Oh, and friendly staff with warm welcome and smile every day.

Ik was blij met Goats, chickens, pigs around the back you can walk through with dogs on a leash. Super friendly staff Huge pitches, well spaced out Lots of trees on one side for shade

Ik was blij met Lived the Gin Tin outside bar, very friendly, well set up and great prices. Rustic showers and toilets, a great idea and great experience (although not so sure if its cold outside) Flat pitches 1 mile from Boulmer Pop up food trucks each night

Ik was niet blij met Electricity going off between 11pm-7am but I can live with that.

Ik was blij met Nwe arrived allate at night and the nght watchman to show you to bay very friendly and informative. Toilets are great, not often you see a chandelier in the loos! Very clean too. Good dog walk around the outskirts

Ik was niet blij met Pitches are tiny but we did book a gravel pitch. Statics are also on top of each other.

Ik was blij met Sandside pitches right on the front with beautiful views. Large and flat pitches Toilet/sink/shower in each cubicle with hooks, seat, window and radiator. Staff are very helping friendly Bar / bar food good Good walks nearby Easy to get too off the main road

Ik was niet blij met Little bit of walk from front pitches to toilets, but given the views, well worth it.

Ik was blij met Right on sea front behind dunes. Clean toilets and showers. Pictures nice and flat. Friendly welcome. Great walks on dunes, beaches, hills. Lovely village with sea wall walk. Great play park just outside for kids.

Ik was blij met Flat, spacious pitches, great showers and toilet facilities. Didn't need the shop or takeaway but looked well stocked. Nice dog walking area. Nice to walk along the river but cobbled so kept it short. You can walk along mud path into town a few mile.

Ik was blij met Large electric flat pitches. Friendly welcome. Toilets and showers always clean and tidy. Plenty of hot water. Good food in pub next door. Great views. Just 1.5m walk to Derwent Resevoir. A little work going on but nothing noisy or unsightly and will be a fantastic site when all finished.

Ik was niet blij met Only 2 female/2 male toilets and 2 showers. Not an issue when I was there but only a few on site so could get busy.

Ik was blij met Immaculate well kept site. Friendly welcome and goodbye. Pub on site, looked nice but didn't use Village just over a mile away with village shop and bar. Great location for coast, Alnwick, Rothbury and Morpeth

Ik was niet blij met Fully serviced pitches quite small and packed in. No dog walk, although plenty of country lanes. Pitch wifi not very good

Ik was blij met Beautiful marina, clean toilets, plenty of dog walking space. Cafe is great, more of a marina bistro as menu was great. Good stuff on for Halloween too. About 1.5 mile walk to office pub, The old oak tree, also great. Great base for site seeing too.

Ik was niet blij met Only 4 of the 8 toilets were ever open (I understand 1 is kept for storage but had to wait to shower a few times)

Ik was blij met Huge fully serviced level pitches well spaced out from each other. Bike stand per pitch. Good dog walking field and an excellent dog wash and even a pet dryer! Well kept short grass. Cleanliness of showers and toilets. Great info in sign in hut with lots of local walk cards and local information. Well positioned for Dales

Ik was niet blij met Only 2 toilets on field although another 2 at entrance and only 2 showers. I didn't have to wait but if site was full it could get busy.

Ik was niet blij met Everything else! Toilets have a code, not sure why as door doesn't shut so the WHOLE site uses them on the way to/from clubhouse. Toilets stink of chip fat from mobile chips shop outside. Others tourers stealing furniture from statics to sit in! People riding around smoking weed. Noise from clubhouse.

Ik was blij met A quiet peaceful site which is well kept, clean and friendly welcome. Fantastic views. Sunset is great. Get a clear sky and star gazing is great. Toilets a little old but very clean and warm woth hot water at all times. So many dogs walks and plenty of dog bins. Touring sites go around the small stream. So picturesque.

Ik was blij met Nice tidy site, well kept Great pub with tasty well priced food. Great location to visit Warkworth, Alnwick and Amble.

Ik was niet blij met Toilets. Dirty when we got there Friday evening do put it down to that but didn't get cleaned all weekend. Tbh, didn't look like they'd been cleaned for a while. Showers small and one didn't have a light, another no curtain so only left one. A little train noise but expected.

Ik was blij met Spotless site. Toilets clean, warm & well stocked. Hot showers with plenty of room. Hot water at all times of day. Fantastic views. Walking distance to Keilder Castle and forest. Everything has been given some thought.

Ik was blij met Large pitches, toilet, sink and shower all in a large room, heaters if needed, bar area was friendly and welcoming. Great dog walking track through woodland. Children's play area looked great. Whole site immaculately maintained. Pub has good prices. Small shop in reception with essentials.
