Ik was blij met We absolutely loved our stay here. The campsite is immaculate and beautifully maintained, set within a gorgeous old orchard which made it such a pretty and peaceful setting. It’s exceptionally quiet and peaceful, with the adults-only atmosphere making it perfect for a relaxing break. The pitches are large and spacious, with a water tap conveniently located right next to the pitch and EHU within a good distance. The location is fantastic too, sitting nicely between Pickering and Scarborough, and just a short distance from Dalby Forest, which has some beautiful walks to explore. It’s also very dog-friendly, which was a huge bonus for us. The facilities are clean, spacious and well maintained, including an accessible toilet, and the rubbish and waste disposal areas were also clean and tidy. The owners were friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, this was a fantastic campsite in a beautiful location. We’d definitely recommend it and will happily return! ☺️

Ik was niet blij met The only downside for us was the Wi-Fi. It wouldn’t put us off staying again, but the signal was quite poor and we generally had to be outside to get a connection, and even then it could be a little hit and miss. Not really a dislike, but the turning out of the camping field was quite tight, particularly for a newbie like me! 😅 I had a bit of a close call when turning out, although thankfully managed to sort myself out with a bit of manoeuvring. I’m sure navigating smaller spaces will come with experience! 😊 Neither would put us off returning though, and overall we had a fantastic stay.

Ik was blij met Just came back from a great week at this beautiful site. Pitches are large and spacious and the site is wonderfully quiet. Views are superb and you’re just a stones throw away from the beach which was excellent for the dogs. With only 5 hardstanding pitches, the site had a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere, just how we like it! Bonus points from me for the single toilets and showers, which provide much more privacy than a shared toilet block! These were also immaculately clean. Site owners were lovely, accommodating and friendly and the site itself was super dog friendly. There are pubs and cafes a short drive away in the centre of Allonby but you could also walk there if you wanted to. The only tiny improvement that I could think of would be running hot water for the pot wash but there is a facility to boil a kettle so you can get warm water, it just means more waiting. This isn’t a criticism however and wouldn’t put us off staying again. WiFi was good for the most part- dropped out at times but came back quickly. Overall, we had a faultless stay and can’t wait to return! ☺️
