Ik was blij met This is one of the best places we have stayed for a long time, well run with staff visible to prevent any poor behaviour. Toilets clean and showers very good. Loved the indoor pool and the animals. Went fishing most days. Onsite bar and restaurant very good value. And if you run out of anything the well stocked shop should see you right.

Ik was niet blij met Tent were mixed between the touring caravans making them far too close for comfort and safety, also some tents had upto 3 cars making site navigation difficult and area resemble a car park.

Ik was blij met Site manager and the staff were lovley, helped us to pitch on one of their level pitches with a view of the lake. Toilets and showers very clean and well presented, laundry room an added bonus. All pitches spacious well groomed and flat, large field available for rallies and as we left there were two clubs taking advantage of this area. Fishing lake onsite and well stocked. Looking to return as open all year.

Ik was blij met This is a gem of a site, level pitches set around fishing pond, exceptionally warm welcome on arrival, given all relevant information needed to enjoy our stay, toilets 5*, the goats are very friendly and the calfs are a joy to see. Free range eggs available from the chickens, such a lovley atmosphere, very peaceful, loved listening to the owls at night.

Ik was blij met Pitches level, quiet during the day. Pitches in nice area between the lakes.

Ik was niet blij met Picked site as no groups allowed, how wrong were we :-( 98% seasonal pitches, looks more like a carpark, vans far to close together, even had a motorhome and caravan on same pitch so close the van door could not be opened, major fire risk. Supposed to have tents in separate area however a tent was put near our caravan (camping area empty) friends of the seasonal users! They then proceeded to have a birthday party by the tent, attended by at least a dozen adults, playing football (not permitted in this area) and did not relocate to their own vans till after 10.30pm where they continued. No warden onsite or any staff, no tel number to contact warden in event of any issues. Toilets cleaned mid morning and then no checks or maintenance till next day, ended up having to do the job myself, showers cold. Will we go back definitely not. This is not a touring site it's a static site, we went for the fishing but the lakes are in such a poor condition you are only going to catch weed, major amount of goose poo everywhere.

Ik was blij met Lovely site close to river, very quiet at night, has onsite pool ( still heating up so was cold but usable) small playground set away from pitches so did not cause any disturbance, grass short and ground solid so ok if wet. Even had our own personal air show thanks to nearby RAF base.

Ik was niet blij met Let down by standard of cleaning in public areas, shower drains blocked so showers flood when used, no mop provided to mop up after use, having said this we will definitely be visiting this site again, been to posher sites who's facilities were much worse and cost twice as much.

Ik was blij met Very peaceful and quiet site, very secluded location on the banks of the river behind the pub. Would visit again as location very tranquil however site could do with some tlc.

Ik was niet blij met Could do with some signage from the main road so you have an inkling you are on the right track and you sat nav is not taking you on a wild goose chase. Toilet and shower facilities basic and cold, would be unable to cope if site was busy.

Ik was blij met Lovely setting set in small groups surrounded by trees and shrubs, pitches reasonably level and of a good size, toilet facilities were clean and well laid out, the unisex en suit facilities were very good with plenty of hot water even though the site was busy. The site borders a mature woodland that access the beach and the sea, beautiful for walking in the evening and direct access to a lovely sandy beach. We would go here again but not in the main school holidays.

Ik was niet blij met No complaint about the site in general however irresponsible parents who's children were causing nuisance late at night were creating problems that meant the wardens had to do evening patrols to curb the noise, there is a 10.30 curfew for the playground, this should be telling parents to gather their offspring when it gets dark and know where they are. We were here with our children and grandchildren and are certainly not anti kids but please keep your little mites under control.

Ik was blij met This is our second visit to this site, facilities are excellent and staff very helpful and friendly, toilets and showers are first rate, not too far to walk to the beaches, onsite bar very welcome addition to our stay, reasonably priced and good company, great place for watching the birds and wildlife. Fishing lake peaceful will be returning soon.

Ik was niet blij met Shop would do well if stocked fishing bait, that's the only reason you would have to leave site if you runout however the fish seemed to like bread and sweetcorn.

Ik was blij met Found this site by chance, very clean and tidy, toilets and showers warm and water lovely and hot, was one of the coldest weekends we have been away in our motorhome but facilities are excellent, farm shop does some of the best pasties I have tasted in years, gravel hard standing very good, well thought out site, can't wait to go back.
