Ik was blij met The shower blocks, the space between vehicles, the club house, the club house staff (lovely people), access to Sheringham Country Park, the bus stop direct to Sheringham town centre at the end of the entrance drive.

Ik was blij met Brilliant toilet/shower blocks, friendly greeting, easy arrival/check-in, good pitches (quite close together at times), handy on-site shop, very peaceful, excellent club-house, good food and certain nights, great entertainment. Regular bus pick-up from just outside the site direct to Sheringham (and back again).

Ik was blij met A glorious campsite, stunning surroundings, fantastic facilities (toilets/shower blocks), friendly staff, vintage clubhouse that serves great food, regular bus service to Sheringham. We arrived home today and have already booked to visit again in July. So good 👍

Ik was blij met The shower/toilet blocks were immaculate and heated. The onsite club house served fabulous food and the bar/pub had a lovely atmosphere. Our pitch was luckily in the 'quieter' area, as some parts were very noisy, mainly with larger famies/children but everyone seemed to be having fun. The staff were the star prize, friendly, happy and nothing was too much trouble. I nearly forgot, steps onsite down to one of the best beaches I've been on, home and abroad.

Ik was niet blij met The fact that in the children's play area, there were adults and children walking around with glasses and glass bottles - this is an accident waiting to happen with bare foot toddlers everywhere - signage was there but clearly ignored.

Ik was blij met Have stayed here before - beautiful site, the epitome of peace. Shower and toilet facilities are very good, the village is a short (glorious) walk away. A must for all campers.

Ik was blij met This was a lovely little site, not overcrowded with the facilities being extremely clean and suffice. The site was peaceful, with chickens and ducks (eggs for free if laid) and outdoor games available (badminton, boule, jenga, large connect 4). The man was super friendly and showed us around. Lovely pubs close by and a shop (both in biking distance).

Ik was niet blij met The rude guy who met us on site, almost grunted when telling us where we needed to park and who just kept walking when i was asking a couple of questions, me walking behind him.

Ik was blij met The peace and quiet here is fantastic. Gorgeous rolling countryside, with the sweet sounds of livestock. We took bikes and stumbled across the Stiffkey Stores, an amazing little artisan shop, selling groceries, coffee, teas and tasty pastries. We then continued to cycle 5 mins more and came across The Red Lion pub, fab little pub. Food smelt amazing. If you want simple, this is the site for you.

Ik was niet blij met Only 2 open porta-loos on the site. Not a problem when the site is not overly busy but could be unpleasant.

Ik was blij met Location was perfect, short walk to the harbour (10 mins max). The campsite had everything we needed, a pub on site full of lovely locals as well as other campers. We played cash bingo on a Friday night, such good fun. Toilet blocks and showers were both fine. We met quite a few four legged friends too. The pub doesn't serve food but allows food to be brought in/delivered. Really enjoyed our time here in Portleven. Simply gorgeous.

Ik was niet blij met Only think that springs to mind is, no small sinks within the shower cubicles, there are however small sinks in the toilets.

Ik was blij met Excellent welcome, shown exactly where to go by super friendly staff. Plenty of space for our individual pitch, shower and toilet blocks nearly always immaculate, when not they were in the process of being cleaned. Quiet/peaceful site at night. Location was spot on, walking distance to The Gorge/Caves, fantastic restaurants and cafes. Loved it and will be returning in 2026 for sure.

Ik was niet blij met Only surprise was when the electric hook-up ran out on the 2nd evening, we bought more electric, however we thought paying for a pitch with electricity meant for the duration of our stay - probably our fault for not reading it properly but only £3 per day/night so still a fab deal.

Ik was blij met I'd that morning ran the Leeds Half Marathon in the blistering heat. Leeds was bedlam, with thousands of runners, spectators, stewards and dogs and getting out of city was a challenge. The two hour journey to Woodhall Country Park was a race against time to meet the reception close time but we done it. Alll of that was worth it as this place is truly magical, peaceful, tranquil and all of those running pains and stresses immediately melted away. We are already looking at dates to return and stay for longer. Simply beautiful.

Ik was niet blij met The shop closed at 5pm and there is only food available on the site, Fri- Sun, however there are great pubs/restaurants close by. Nothing else to dislike.
