Ik was blij met Everything. The facilities are at a level that ALL campsites should aspire to. Friendly owners and staff with a lovely little bar/grill serving excellent food.

Ik was blij met Neat and tidy site, easy access from the road, decent pitches and decent facilities.

Ik was niet blij met Not much, maybe a tad noisy with kids running about a bit late for our liking.

Ik was blij met Very friendly and super helpful owners, just nice people! Sowers and toilet facilities are 10/10, so clean and generously sized.

Ik was niet blij met Pitches were a tad scruffy, but I’d think that was down to the extended heatwave and weather conditions.

Ik was blij met Where to start… Note to all Pitchup sites: this is what you should aspire to. Superb facilities, clean, tidy, spacious… Nice sized, relatively flat pitches, super little bar and restaurant, fresh bread and pastries available daily and excellent WiFi! Lovely owners who take pride in the site.

Ik was blij met Lovely pitches, great little bar and terrace, and by good timing, live music from a local band. Decent facilities, clean and tidy, with toilet seats and with piped radios music! The young lady who checked us in seems to do everything, always helpful, always smiling.. behind the bar, serving at table and even helping the cleaners in the cabins.. she worked so very hard and deserves a medal. Great for kids, decent pool and space to play.

Ik was niet blij met Not a lot, slight issue getting in as there is nowhere to park with a van on the back without blocking the entrance, a minor issue. WiFi is weak and only available at tithe bar/reception, again, a minor issue really.

Ik was niet blij met Where to start: dreadful facilities, dirty and old, shower heads missing, spurting water instead of spray.. The owner couldn’t have been more disinterested if he tried. I had booked two nights but immediately needed to reduce to one so emailed at the time, with no response. I mentioned this on arrival but he wouldn’t engage so he got two nights money.. Pitches unkempt, although I didn’t expect too much grass under a forest canopy. Sad to say that the best thing about the site is the chemical toilet disposal point, the best ever!

Admittedly, the sanitary facilities are not the most recent, but they are cleaned twice a week and there is no shortage of shower heads. Ik was blij met Lovely friendly owners, nothing too much trouble after we were badly delayed due to the 2025 wild fire, which stopped the whole of the A9 up from Spain and down from Beziers. Great location, decent pitches and facilities, and perfect for exploring Carcassonne.

Ik was niet blij met Nothing, shame we only had one night here.

Ik was blij met Lovely owners, super friendly and helpful. Huge pitches, shady and sunny, decent facilities. Highly recommended for a stopover or for long lazy vacations. What’s not to like?
