Ik was blij met I visited 1st sept for 2 nights so it was outside the busiest period. The whole Site was very quiet and clean, pod was clean as well. There was a picnic table outside which i appreciated. There was a light in the pod as well which I didn't expect so it was nice suprise. Staff was very friendly. The site is easy to access by car, not far from the main road which was perfect for me. I will definitely recommend and use again. Toilets and shower block clean and looked recently refurbished/ new.

Ik was niet blij met - there was no built-in hairdryer in female toilets, i didn't have my own hairdryer but there was a plug to use one

Ik was blij met Great campsite for us. Clean toilets and hot water in a shower. Sheltered communal area with gas cooker and tables and everything you need to make a meal if it's pouring down. Looks lovely in the nighttime when fairy lights are on. Would come back.

Ik was niet blij met The only thing we thought about, more as a feedback, we wish there was a seprate bathroom sink, not together with a toilet in a cabin. Difficult to wash face and brush teeth.

Ik was blij met Farm Shop but campsite not for us.

Ik was niet blij met The Farm with showers facilities is not close to campsite. To have a shower we had to take a car as not possible to walk a mile with children on the road and then through mud. Pitches not flat with dips filled with water. No hot water. I wouldnt come back. Maybe for a one night stay on my own but not with children. Not for us.

Van de manager: Hi Melina We're sorry you haven't enjoyed your stay on our campsite. I'm not sure what showers you have been to, but they certainly aren't a mile away, and there isn't any mud at the end of the walk... they take about 5 minutes to walk to, but I can appreciate that it takes a bit longer with little legs. With the heavy rain that came all day yesterday, I think everywhere in the Lake District will have been a little bit muddy on the campsites. We're glad you liked our shop, which opened this year and thank you for using it.
