Mi è piaciuto I visited 1st sept for 2 nights so it was outside the busiest period. The whole Site was very quiet and clean, pod was clean as well. There was a picnic table outside which i appreciated. There was a light in the pod as well which I didn't expect so it was nice suprise. Staff was very friendly. The site is easy to access by car, not far from the main road which was perfect for me. I will definitely recommend and use again. Toilets and shower block clean and looked recently refurbished/ new.

Non mi è piaciuto - there was no built-in hairdryer in female toilets, i didn't have my own hairdryer but there was a plug to use one

Mi è piaciuto Great campsite for us. Clean toilets and hot water in a shower. Sheltered communal area with gas cooker and tables and everything you need to make a meal if it's pouring down. Looks lovely in the nighttime when fairy lights are on. Would come back.

Non mi è piaciuto The only thing we thought about, more as a feedback, we wish there was a seprate bathroom sink, not together with a toilet in a cabin. Difficult to wash face and brush teeth.

Mi è piaciuto Farm Shop but campsite not for us.

Non mi è piaciuto The Farm with showers facilities is not close to campsite. To have a shower we had to take a car as not possible to walk a mile with children on the road and then through mud. Pitches not flat with dips filled with water. No hot water. I wouldnt come back. Maybe for a one night stay on my own but not with children. Not for us.

I'm not sure what showers you have been to, but they certainly aren't a mile away, and there isn't any mud at the end of the walk... they take about 5 minutes to walk to, but I can appreciate that it takes a bit longer with little legs. With the heavy rain that came all day yesterday, I think everywhere in the Lake District will have been a little bit muddy on the campsites. We're glad you liked our shop, which opened this year and thank you for using it.
