Ik was blij met Site was flat. Rain drained easily as sandy soil. Hot water for washing up. Lots of recycling containers. A great base to go and see the sites in the local area. Some public footpaths directly from the site which was nice. Welcome pack included what was going on locally. Warm welcome from site owners and Hendricks the very friendly pooch!

Ik was niet blij met I think if it were busy, the number of showers would be a problem but the site is very new (six weeks old!) and so am sure this will be improved upon given time. Other that, nothing to complain about.

Ik was blij met Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. I booked the wrong weekend in an absent minded moment but they kindly rebooked me into the correct dates. Easy access to local shops etc and lovely walks. Food van on site for some lovely grub. Amenities onsite were plentiful and cleaned very regularly. Really enjoyed my stay. Thank you.

Ik was blij met The facilities were absolutely fantastic. So current, up to date and thoughtfully put together. I don’t have a dog but they even had a dog shower room complete with fur dryer! Fridge and microwave in utility room. Perfect for those without EHU. Really spaced out pitches. River running behind the section we were in and the wildlife was fantastic. Let’s just say that we ‘herd splashing about in the river’! Photos to follow…. Really friendly reception staff (thank you for being lovely when I had had quite enough of travelling and was a little discombobulated on arrival!). Top class. Will absolutely be coming back for longer next time.

Ik was blij met I liked how welcoming David and Gill were. Immediately offered help when they noticed that my EHU cable wouldn’t reach. Lent me an extension free of charge. Had a couple of really nice conversations with David who, despite being really busy, made time to chat and do me a real favour. Thanks very much, so kind. Would love to come back. So central for lots of attractions and walks. Just great.
