Ik was blij met We booked this site on the back of the good reviews We weren’t keen on having camping pitches right at the back of our van, and no privacy at all between pitches. The pitches themselves are not a bad size but never in all our campsite visits come across a site that has splitters on the one electric point for 2 pitches, and there was a cable running across the main walkway path. We had a phone call whilst out exploring asking why we’d removed it and put our own in, as we needed 2 sockets and was told to plug it back in on our return, which we did, to find no one was using it anyway! The site is small and basic, not much going on. There are only 2 toilets (2men’s and 2 women’s) and 2 unisex showers available, however it wasn’t an issue as the site wasn’t full, they were very clean, however one morning the toilets were out of order due to a blockage.. I’m a light sleeper and was thankful to be in a camper van as the noise from the main road is quite loud.

Ik was blij met What a fantastic little gem of a site this was. We thoroughly enjoyed this site as it had everything we enjoy and look for. So peaceful, lovely big pitch which was very private, with the added bonus of the stunning lakes and superb cafe.. yes there’s no toilet block or showers but honestly it didn’t bother us , as we went prepared. We actually would’ve loved to stay another night. We will deffo be back and will take advantage of the fishing.

Ik was blij met Fabulous little site, very quiet. Toilet block very clean. Shame the pub was closed but found a great little place up the road. Bus stop right outside for easy access into Cheddar, Weston & Wells..

Ik was blij met We came back here as it’s a great little site. Unfortunately my bad for not reading the small print. The pub itself is shut on a Mon & Tues. However me went to another great pub not far away for dinner called the Church Inn, absolutely fantastic.. this site is quiet and facilities are spotlessly clean.

Ik was blij met Fabulous site, quiet, clean and friendly, helpful staff. Games room was an added bonus. Nice size pitches and plenty of space in between. Lovely garden area.

Ik was niet blij met Felt the toilet facilities would have benefitted from some ventilation as a bit of an unpleasant smell.

Ik was blij met This was a fab site, very quiet, great location, facilities were great and very clean. Loved the metal cauldrons that were scattered around, enabling us to have an evening fire pit. Would deffo use again.
