Kleine, rustige boerderijcamping met prachtig uitzicht en vriendelijke hosts. Geniet van boerderijdieren (Highland cows, honden), boerderijrondleidingen en verse producten. Ideaal voor de NC500. Een paar minpunten: beperkte sanitaire voorzieningen, soms hondengeblaf. Manager reageerde op klacht over personeel en tours.

Ik was blij met Lovely space for a stop over, beautiful views and a wonderful reception from the owners.

Quiet tidy site with amazing views

Ik was blij met This is a fully functioning working farm. Two pitches just behind the lambing shed with amazing views. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. There are outside tables and games , and a summer house with sofas and books. Also a freezer of burgers and sausages to purchase. We were invited into the lambing sheds to see the new lambs
There are walks on the doorstep, if you don’t want to move your van. Melvich Bay is under an hours walk away.

Ik was blij met Very peaceful and beautiful views. ECH but no other facilities, but self contained so did not worried us.
Owner was really lovely and gave us some useful places to see as we travelled on further round the NC500

Ik was blij met Lovely site ,enclosed area for 2 . Park where you want in the area. Table and benches and information hut with sofa and chairs. Beautiful views. Water and bins on site.
Very welcoming and animals are great.
Sheep, lambs, pigs, goat, cows, horses and dogs. Very quiet location apart from animal noises.

Ik was blij met Great welcome by host including showing us around and letting us help with feeding the animals.
Pitch was very clean and quiet.

Ik was blij met Warm friendly family 2 pitches farm location. There is only electric and water hook ups; no waste disposal or toilet/shower facilities. There is a body cabin there with sofas, information and a freezer of burgers and beef sausages to buy. We were able to watch lambing on progress which was fun.

Ik was blij met Very friendly owners, no problems checking in- the landlady even allowed us to wash our boys very muddy clothes in the washing machine, we had a small issue with our camper and the owner very happily help us to rectify the issue. We stayed for Storm Dave and found the area very well protected from the elements, quiet and peaceful with a very lovely little lounge area in the wooden cabin full of useful information about the farm and other local attractions. Very well thought out and planned. Plus they have fresh beef burgers and sausages to purchase- we chose a few burgers to try and they were delicious and very well priced! Highly recommend all around. Thank you for everything- hopefully we’ll see you again next year :) x

Perfect place to stop on the…

Ik was blij met Perfect place to stop on the NC500. Very private spaces for two motorhomes with loving outside seating areas.
Highly recommend staying here for a night or two.
We got to meet the farm animals too.. the lambs and highland cows were our favourite and the dogs on the farm were lovely to be around.
Lovely owners and we hope to go back to visit again at some point

A beautiful farm, but let down by the experience

Ik was blij met The dogs were our favourite, the sweetest bunch.
Ik was niet blij met The young farmer that shouted at us and the dogs for the dogs following us around while we explored after we asked the main farmer if we could walk around. There was no tour like the reviews suggest either which was the main reason we booked. We left early, a real shame. The person that answered the phone was really sweet so it’s a shame that one person ruined it.

Van de manager: We are very sorry your experience was a disappointment.
Because we were so quiet we actually had the buggy in for its yearly service so unable to do tours.
I think the dogs were maybe in the fields with stock where they shouldn’t have been but we have had a word with him and hopefully resolved the situation.
Again our apologies. We did refund you your full amount an apology.

Ik was blij met Loved every minute of my stay, made special by the hosts. A working farm and a fabulous location. Small and sufficient, level pitches, electric hook-up. A welcome alternative to larger less personable sites close by. Even got to meet the Highland cows - fabulous.
