喜欢 Very friendly owners, no problems checking in- the landlady even allowed us to wash our boys very muddy clothes in the washing machine, we had a small issue with our camper and the owner very happily help us to rectify the issue. We stayed for Storm Dave and found the area very well protected from the elements, quiet and peaceful with a very lovely little lounge area in the wooden cabin full of useful information about the farm and other local attractions. Very well thought out and planned. Plus they have fresh beef burgers and sausages to purchase- we chose a few burgers to try and they were delicious and very well priced! Highly recommend all around. Thank you for everything- hopefully we’ll see you again next year :) x

喜欢 Perfect place to stop on the NC500. Very private spaces for two motorhomes with loving outside seating areas.
Highly recommend staying here for a night or two.
We got to meet the farm animals too.. the lambs and highland cows were our favourite and the dogs on the farm were lovely to be around.
Lovely owners and we hope to go back to visit again at some point

喜欢 The dogs were our favourite, the sweetest bunch.

不喜欢 The young farmer that shouted at us and the dogs for the dogs following us around while we explored after we asked the main farmer if we could walk around. There was no tour like the reviews suggest either which was the main reason we booked. We left early, a real shame. The person that answered the phone was really sweet so it’s a shame that one person ruined it.

Because we were so quiet we actually had the buggy in for its yearly service so unable to do tours.
I think the dogs were maybe in the fields with stock where they shouldn’t have been but we have had a word with him and hopefully resolved the situation.
Again our apologies. We did refund you your full amount an apology.

喜欢 Loved every minute of my stay, made special by the hosts. A working farm and a fabulous location. Small and sufficient, level pitches, electric hook-up. A welcome alternative to larger less personable sites close by. Even got to meet the Highland cows - fabulous.

喜欢 We stayed here in our motorhome and a lovely farm and owner the doggies are lovely also and a really funny goat. Highly recommend this for a peaceful stay and if you love animals like we do, not forgetting the 2 piggies we would def stay again x

来自经理: Hi. Disappointed with you giving a Review as above, specially as you never stayed.
When you booked, I sent a email to yourselves as some folk miss reading all our description which explains we don’t have facilities apart from electric hookup.
You arrived about 4pm and our son noticed you had a roof tent, he asked if you had facilities and you said “no” he replied asking what were you going to do for the bathroom and you replied we have just been, but who doesn’t need the bathroom from 4pm until about 10am in the morning??
On Our site you have to be self contained.
I also sent an email to yourselves after you left apologising about the situation and even though we don’t normally do it offered to refund you. You’ve never written back.
Please read the descriptions fully next time, incase you get caught out again.

喜欢 Everything about it was great. Will was a wonderful host, great to chat to and learn about the local area.
We went on the buggy tour which was great? 4 x 50 uear olds turned into kids for a few hours. Fabulous to meet all the animals but Colin the calf and the highland cows were a real treat. We could see and hear deer rutting in the distance. For us, this campsite experience was a definite highlight to our NC500 tour ✨️ The fabulous communal space meant we could have a glass of wine with cheese and biscuits evening too. We purchased some beef burgers and sausages made at the farm for our journey onwards and enjoyed those on a bbq the following night with the left over Stilton!! Pinch us, we're in NC500 heaven 😂 ....thank you Will and family.

喜欢 We were greeted by the most adorable guests...a horde of border collies. Kirkton was a lovely campsite to stop at for the night, it had wonderful views and the area was really quiet for a peaceful nights sleep. There was also a common area if you preferred to relax in there rather than your van. We took a little walk to visit the pigs on site as well and the hosts were incredibly helpful.
