Ik was blij met Peaceful (apart from slight road noise) Easy walking distance from beach & Embleton, and a good base for walking to Craster via Dunstanburgh Castle. Great wood-fired pizza place over road Portaloos clean Nice views over farmland Plenty of space Bus stop directly outside campsite (although with no bus stop sign! It is definitely a stop though) connecting to places like Craster, Alnwick, Bamburgh etc Farm shop & petrol station shop in Embleton sell most things you're likely to need, both within walking distance Local beach is lovely - lots of sand, not too busy, rock pools, dog friendly but no noticeable dog mess.

Ik was niet blij met Long walk from most of site to single water tap - would be much better to have another tap closer to the toilets (more convenient for most campers plus good for washing hands after using the loo!) Portaloos (no matter how clean they are, they're still not the most pleasant type of toilet to use!) Quite a lot of the site is in shade in the afternoon and evening - could be welcome on a hot day but can get a bit cold on cooler days.
