Stopping over for a night on a long journey or planning to hang around Lake Balaton for a little while? Either way, the serviced pitches at M7 Stellplatz make a splendid place to stay for those travelling in self-contained motorhomes.
This is a simple site that’s specifically designed for motorhomes, so it's got useful things like chemical disposal and a grey water drain, but no toilets and showers. It's a very convenient location as well – just off the M7 motorway on the edge of Balatonkeresztúr, with shops, places to eat and attractions (including wine cellars) close by.
Lake Balaton is the big draw, of course – and the shores of central Europe's largest lake are about a kilometre and a half away, putting guests in a great position for days on the beach, lakeside walks and watersports as well as all the area's attractions.

Deze camping beschikt niet over toilet- en douchevoorzieningen.
Op deze camping zijn hondenrassen/kruisingen die in de 'lijst met hoog-risico honden op agressief gedrag' zijn opgenomen, niet toegestaan (zoals de pitbullterriër, tosa, Argentijnse dog en fila brasileiro). Ook de volgende rassen zijn niet welkom: de staffordshire-bulterriër, Amerikaanse staffordshireterriër, rottweiler en mastiff.- Minstens één lid van het gezelschap dient 18 of ouder te zijn.

Lokale bezienswaardigheden
Balatonkeresztúr makes a lovely base for time spent by Lake Balaton – it’s got a quiet beach, a pretty church and a couple of wineries to visit. If you don’t fancy swimming in the lake, head south to the pools at Marcali Spa and Leisure Centre (15 minutes’ drive) – perhaps stopping at the village of Buzsák (25 minutes) while you’re away from the lake, to learn about its famous embroidery tradition.
Heading west, Hévíz (20 minutes) has a swimming lake and the Bobo Fun Park, and there's some good birdwatching around Little Balaton (25 minutes). The opulent Festetics Palace (20 minutes) should certainly be on your to-do list as well – it's one of the finest attractions in the area.
Up on the northern shores of the lake, there are lots more gorgeous viewpoints to stop at, and several lakeside wineries where you can have a scenic drink or two. Szigliget Castle (40 minutes) is also worth a visit, or you can take a boat trip through the underground caves at Tapolca (45 minutes).
