Camp Arboretum

Ik was blij met: Great Landlord: super helpful, chatty, gave us a lot of ideas for daytrips, offered a Kajak for free, gave us a warm welcome with beers. Amazing view: You can‘t be closer to the sea without beeing in the sea. A small and quiet place, mostly visited by locals and a few Germans that live there permanently. Right next to a small Store, enough to supply you with the most necassary thing for daily living (Toilet paper, Food, Beer and Water, Toothbrush, … Astonishing coastline: A small beach is just 5 Meters up or down the street and with the Kajaks, it‘s easy to explore the rual areas in a calm an nice way. If you walk a couple of hundret meters up the road, you can also find a small path, leading you into the hills to some Great Peaks with amazing views over the whole island. Nothing to hard if you are fit, just some easy trails.

Ik was niet zo blij met: The Kitchen and the bathroom were super-dirty. The bahroom was full of spiders and Even a small scorpion came along to say hello to us. Compared to German or French Standards it was a mess. Anyways, the living room and the bedroom were tidy, clean and due to the nature stone walls very well tempered. Not to hot, not to cold, not to humid.
