Dyfed Shire Horse Farm

Ik was blij met Relaxed and laid back site, Edna looked after us and showed us around. Used toilets which were clean but didn’t use shower as we were only there for 1 night. Burner provided for fire with no charge, would recommend and use again

Ik was blij met Great location, beautiful mountain views.and horses.

Ik was niet blij met Shower and toilet facilities.

No lighting from camp site to toilet / shower facilities, very dark at night.

Both shower areas were dirty and damp. Drains appeared to be backing up in showers causing water to overflow from the shower tray onto the floor.

However, its unfortunate you didn't find the time to raise your concerns during your visit, despite having a guest information sheet/map with our contact details. We are not for everyone and that is fine but for avoidance of doubt we are a campsite on a farm in rural Wales so it will be dark at night, where there is little light pollution and we make no apology for this. We have never provided night lights to campers & won't be as most campers embrace the dark sky experience. Our toilets/showers are regularly checked/cleaned and all we ask if guests identify an issue then to make us aware at the time, which you did not as it would have been attended to. We wish you all the best in your camping adventures elsewhere, which in all probability will cost more as we do offer what we feel is excellent VFM which includes free entry to Dyfed Shires when the farm is open to the public.

Ik was blij met Amazing place. This is the second time we have stayed here and there is so much to do within the price. Lovely flat field, lovely food and great for kids.

Ik was blij met It was a very welcoming and friendly campsite, and although it was very busy during our stay, it had a relaxed atmosphere. Particularly good for families as they can make the most of the farm's activities.

Ik was niet blij met The Showers/toilets were a bit unclean and it would have been good to have more toilets that weren't connected to the showers. However, over all really enjoyed the campsite and would recommend.

All we ask from guests is if there is an issue then let us know and we will try and rectify promptly. We feel we offer excellent VFM and the vast majority of our guests clearly enjoy themselves on the farm and campsite.

Nice level pitches and well maintained facilities.

Ik was blij met I was travelling lone with 2 kids 7&3 and 2 dogs.
I was met by the site owner and shown the field and where to pitch up.

At first glance the place is tired and in need
of a little tlc, and struggling with staffing issues ........

BUT

The truth of it is that this place was the best part of my holiday, the kids had a ball, they played from dawn till dusk....the people on the site were lovely, everyone was really friendly, chatty.
It was easy to manage the kids and dogs on site with very little stress.

Cardigan bay is only a short drive away, and poppit sands was definitely worth a trip.

I'd definitely recommend.

However, we do feel we offer a value for money attraction and an authentic farm experience and do not claim to be what we are not. We are dog friendly which many sites are not and we feel we offer a relaxing environment which you agree with. We are a small business and feel we have adequate staff cover and do not offer 24/7 reception. We do endeavour to be available on guest arrival to show you to the site and toilet/shower/water tap locations, which we were. We also provide an information sheet with contact numbers if a need arises with a farm map. I should point out that we provide free use of fire-pits which is evidenced in your picture as we allow their use when many sites refuse or charge for hire. We wish you the best in your future camping adventures and hope to see you on the farm in the future.

Ik was blij met We just come home from here stayed for five nights as a family of 6 . We loved it a perfect family site , Safe welcoming enjoyed by everyone all
Ages . We have brilliant weather . Cafe food was very good the farm was open two days and the activity’s were very good 😊 the horses very well kept . Ten mins from a very beautiful beach sandy beach.
Would highly recommend

Ik was blij met Lovely farm setting with shires, shetlands and donkeys. The owners were so friendly- Enid is such a lovely lady - telling me the history of the farm and how its been in her family for 175 years. Great little cafe dies breakfast and lunches. Sells a few different bottles of cider- we tried the 'Bone Shaker' which was very nice.
The field had spacious pitches and beautiful views. Couple of showers and toilets- basic but adequate- plenty of hot water.
