Coedllys Pop-up Glamping is a small-scale site on the edge of Llangynin, a tiny Welsh village just five minutes' drive from St Clears. With an approach that's peaceful and intimate, this spot in southern Carmarthenshire is also within easy reach of Pembrokeshire's coastal national park and a wealth of family-friendly attractions. There's a range of accommodation options available here, but whatever you go for you'll have access to toilets, hot showers and a shared washing-up area as a minimum. Ice packs can also be frozen if needed, and some local produce is for sale. The site is quite off-grid, but solar charging packs can be rented against a small deposit and for a small daily charge. Wifi is not available, but the phone signal here is strong for most networks. Handily for cyclists, Coedllys Pop-up Glamping has plenty of space for secure bike storage. You'll sleep easy here knowing that there's a warden on hand 24/7 in case any issues come up. Well-behaved dogs are welcome (just remember to include them on your booking when finalising the details of your stay). St Clears (five minutes) has a butcher's, a small supermarket, cafés and restaurants.
