Ik was blij met: Lovely view, upgraded to hard pitch as the grass pitches were wet. Spacious pitch need chocks to level up but only slightly. Can’t comment on the welcome as we didn’t meet anyone in person, only a phone conversation when we first arrived. Rather surprised to have to pay extra for electricity.£1 for 5 min shower but washrooms very clean and private with individual shower, toilet and washbasin. Separate toilet block in addition. Pleasant stay.

Ik was blij met: We were on a blacksmith experience so we were not on site too long mainly on an evening but it was lovely and clean, Great area Owners were polite and helpful. Pitches were well prepared and clean and good value for money. All the facilities well maintained and in good condition.

Ik was niet zo blij met: I only have one and would not call it a dislike but some feedback and I even know it's a little petty! But I would of liked some where to get change onsite for the showers out of hours, As I didn't know you needed coins to operate them, but also a little extra time on the timer for the water to heat up epically on the colder darker days just like 20 -30 secs.

Ik was blij met: Great for the kids as they could go to the park and play with their friends and we could keep an eye on them from the tent, facilities always clean and tidy. Always enjoy our stay .

Ik was blij met: Clean and tidy site, third year in a row we've stayed here. Shop was handy and a new addition from last year. Great location.

Ik was blij met: Staff were friendly and very helpful. Location was peaceful and had spacious pitches. There is a block with 6 or 8 toilets, one wash basin. There is also a raised block with a kitchen and four washrooms, one of which is larger for a family or accessible for wheelchair. The kitchen has a sink, fridge and freezer along with a washing machine and tumble dryer (washing machine and dryer are coin operated). The washrooms have a basin, toilet and shower, the shower is coin operated, £1 for five minutes. There's a shop on site which we didn't use. You are only a short drive to Camarthen and other villages with plenty of places to eat, none within walking distance of the site but less than 15 minute drive. The site does allow dogs but we didn't take ours on this trip.

Ik was niet zo blij met: Although the site rules clearly state dogs must be kept on a lead this was ignored by some campers and there dog was running around all over the site. This didn't bother us but if we had taken our dog it would have. Our dog is very anxious around other dogs so this would have been an issue. I do think if the rules state dogs must be kept on leads then the site owners/staff should be enforcing this.

Van de manager: we spoke to the dog owner on numerous occasions but unfortunately she chose to continue to ignore the rules , for this i can only apologise.

Ik was niet zo blij met: Restricting my dog to a lead when it's ok for the owners dogs to be free and poo. The owners not very friendly or talkative

Van de manager: We have large signs requesting that dogs must be kept on a lead . We had numerous complaints that your dog was running everywhere and fouling - even in the children's park , which you made no attempt to pick up. Our dogs live here and are part of the campsite ,they are very friendly (see previous reviews) also it is not possible for us to be talking with all of our guests all day when we are working although we try our best even on a busy bank holiday weekend

Ik was niet zo blij met: Personally, the electric hook up pitches are a little too close but that's my option.

Ik was blij met: Nice peaceful location. Good,clean facilities. Fridge, freezer washing machine and tumble drier. Plenty of space for children to play. Great area to explore with kids. Friendly, approachable staff who dealt professionally with people who chose to keep the whole campsite awake until 3am.

Ik was niet zo blij met: Only one washing up sink. Not many showers if campsite is fully booked.

Ik was blij met: Very friendly owners, lovely facilities, clean pitches and plenty of space. Would recommend and would definitely visit again
