Just a little way inland from Pentraeth’s sandy beach, Rhos Farm Caravan Park gives you excellent access to Anglesey’s north coast while also providing a bit of shelter from seaside breezes. The pitches here are spacious and secure, with a good number of facilities provided to make your stay comfortable and convenient. Guests have access to a launderette, a washing-up area, a wifi connection and clean, well-maintained bathrooms with toilets and showers (with accessible facilities). The village is a couple of minutes’ drive away for food supplies and there’s a pub five minutes’ walk away for drinks and meals. As it’s a fairly site, there’s also space set aside for outdoor fun – kids can play at the playground or head over to one of the dedicated fields for ball games, cycling, kite flying and the like. Bring the dogs along too – there’s a dog-walking field where you can give them a good stretch of the legs. Those of you who are intending to head out on the water may also be happy to hear that there’s space on site for boat parking. Up here on Anglesey’s north coast you’ll be well situated for several beaches including Red Wharf Bay, Benllech beach and Lligwy beach, plus various attractions including the colourful landscapes of Parys Mountain, the colourful butterflies of Pili Palas Nature World and the imposing Beaumaris Castle. That said, it won’t take long to get to any part of the island you’d like to see – even Holyhead, at the far western edge, is only half an hour’s drive.

Rustige, goed onderhouden camping met ruime, vlakke plaatsen. Zeer nette faciliteiten, waaronder familiekamer en uitstekende douches. Veilig veld voor honden is een pluspunt. Goede locatie nabij stranden en winkels. Vriendelijk personeel. Verbeterpunten: doucheontwerp, duidelijkheid over kosten.

Ik was blij met A lovely family centric park, with everything you could need to have a comfortable stay. Some of our highlights included the warm greeting at reception where all info was provided to us and they had taken the time to make sure we were pitched by our friends. The toilets and shower were a few seconds walk from the pitches, and the cleanliness was impeccable. 2 different play parks which our young children loved. Drinking water taps dotted around so you didn’t have far to walk. Finally, really nice atmosphere between the campers. The park itself is situated a short drive from beaches and towns which made for a lovely day out. Thank you for the fabulous stay!

Ik was blij met Friendly staff, let us swap pitches and swap to a caravan rather than our tent as the 50km/h wind broke our tent and left us with 8cm of water in the tent! Very accomodating. Great place to have as your base to explore Anglesey and it has 2 little playgrounds which our 2.5yo loved.

Ik was niet blij met This is nitpicking, but there's isn't any shelves in the shower / near the sinks to put your washbag, so difficult to cope with just a hook to put your stuff. Putting my contacts in at the sink was difficult as I had nowhere to put anything due to the design of the sink.

Ik was blij met Really liked this campsite, small and quiet. Will definitely be going back! Also fabulous area to get to local beaches and small towns.

Ik was niet blij met Only thing is having to buy tokens for a shower, which we didn’t realise until late on first night and couldn’t shower the kids.

Ik was blij met REALLY LOVELY WELCOME FROM COUPLE WHO WHERE IN OFFICE, READY TO HELP WITH ANYTHING.
LOVELY CLEAN PEACEFUL CAMPSITE, DOG FRIENDLY, SHOWERS WERE SPOTLESS AND GOOD LOCATION FOR BEACHES AND OTHER TOURIST POINTS.

Ik was blij met Pitch was a good size. Position of site, walkable distance from shop, pubs and Red Wharf bay. Off lead dog walking/exercise field.

Ik was niet blij met Toilet block with shower facilities were very modern but were not cleaned very well, if at all. Notices were put up to ask us to leave facilities how we would like to find them, unfortunately no equipment was provided to do this, not even a mop or similar to wipe over floor after showering. Insects such as woodlice and slugs, also beetle like creatures were in all areas of toilet block.

Ik was blij met Loved the pitch, plenty of room and beautifully kept. Lovely wardens and everything very clean. Very close to Red Wharf Bay. Hot water for washing pots.

Ik was niet blij met Showers in the ladies are completely cold. The family room was better but there was no where to hang a towel and the water flooded back towards the door rather than towards the drain.

Ik was blij met Spotless site, even cleaner shower block and toilets, has a family room. Friendly staff and well run. Pitches were level and plenty of room. 2 small parks 1 for younger children and 1 for older children.

Ik was niet blij met Showers were only running cold water on Sunday morning this was disappointing as it was early and no one was available in reception to speak too.

Lokale bezienswaardigheden

Being so close to the coast, you’ll certainly want to set out to explore some of it – perhaps taking a walk along a section of the Anglesey Coast Path, looking out for birds at Red Wharf Bay (five minutes’ drive) or hitting the sands at Benllech beach (five minutes), a great spot for sandcastles, rockpooling and messing about in the shallows. If you’re in the mood for a burst of adrenaline, there are several places along the coast that offer fast-paced RIB rides either along the coast, around the Menai Bridge or out to Puffin Island (where puffins are usually in residence from April to mid-July). It’s also not far to get back to the mainland for the adventure activities at ZipWorld Penrhyn Quarry (half an hour). Sticking to Anglesey, you could take the kids to meet butterflies and other bugs at Pili Palas Nature World (10 minutes), see marine life at Anglesey Sea Zoo or pet cute animals at Foel Farm Park (both 20 minutes). For a history hit, visit Beaumaris Castle (15 minutes), or walk through the former copper mines at Parys Mountain (25 minutes).
