Abbey Farm Caravan Park

Ik was blij met Beautiful area near Llangollen to stay. Camping area is open fields with the odd sheep around.
Can walk to Llangollen, Horseshoe Falls or even Castell Dinas Bran quite easily along the canal. Avoids driving / parking!

Ik was niet blij met Basic shower block. We’ve experienced worse, just not sure when! Could do with a thoroughly deep clean; not just dust but dirt, loads of dirty spider webs even with dead spiders in them. Some spiders are unavoidable in the countryside but this was a whole, extended, generational family of them..!
One day the floor, loos and sinks weren’t cleaned at all which isn’t very hygienic.
Be warned- There’s no control over the temperature, height or direction of the showers, the water is very hot but at least it’s not cold!
All the toilet seats are crooked. Cold air hand dryer!
Also, small bits of rubbish across the fields. Shame people don’t check and pick up when they leave their pitch. Especially those small water balloons and bits of sweet wrappers. Mostly probably left from the school holidays but not cleared by staff either.

Ik was blij met Completely awesome location surrounding medieval abbey ruins. Staff were friendly and helpful, sanitary facilities got cleaned regularly. There were only a few campervans and tents around, so it felt like we had most of the place for ourselves. Would return any time in the future!

Ik was niet blij met Showers, either too cold or to hot !! Water goes everywhere in loo block, as no bottom to shower doors.

Ik was blij met The location is absolutely beautiful, with stunning surroundings. Unfortunately, the experience was let down by the facilities. The pods were smaller than standard ones, which made them uncomfortable. The bathrooms were very dirty, flooded with water, and almost impossible to use, which was very unpleasant. Even the milk dispenser machine was not clean.

It’s such a shame, as this place has so much potential given its setting. Sadly, due to the bathroom conditions and overall discomfort, we had to cut our stay short and leave after just one night.

Ik was blij met Stunning surroundings a short drive from Llangollen. Nice hot showers.

Ik was niet blij met The site allows music any time of day until 10.30pm so you can get rowdy people playing thumping disco music with no regard for other campers. Kids are shouting and screaming until gone 11pm. I complained to the warden but was told if I didn't like it I shouldn't go camping during school holidays.

Thank you for your feedback. This will be passed onto campsite management, music is to be kept at a reasonable level at all times with quiet time after 10.30pm. Our wardens work very hard and always address any issues on site
