Ik was blij met Ok

Ik was niet blij met DofE grouped on a Sunday evening on a hot weekend. The site had clearly been busy, and rubbish was being blown about by strong winds, and the toilets were unclean. Not a great first impression.

Ik was blij met Second time here. Easy just to pull up and pitch, plenty of space, amazing views, allowed campfires and bbqs, plenty of toilets close to some nice walks and very cheap!

Ik was blij met Location by the four waterfalls trail was perfect. Staff and environment super friendly.

Ik was blij met Absolutely spectacular scenery. You can't really ask for better. You're literally in the heart of Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons). Good washing up facilities with water provided. Lovely shower and toilet block near the cottage. The campsite was extremely busy when I stayed and did think that perhaps the amount of toilets and showers would not be enough to go round but the ones I used were very clean. I did not use the toilets/shower block on the main camp field though so can't comment on how that was.
A lot of people were quite noisy well into midnight playing music and partying, cars coming and going etc but it didn't disturb me, can't comment on what others experienced. In the morning it was very peaceful.
However even with the amount of people there was still ample room between pitches and choice of pitch which was good. I did feel safe.
Do probably need a headtorch as some parts are not lit at night.

Ik was blij met Great little place in the middle of knowhere with clean and convenient facilities to take you back to basics and escape the business!

Ik was niet blij met The field is quite hilly in a lot of areas so you need to get there early to find a flatter pitch.

Ik was blij met Spacious and low key campsite. Good location for the 4 Waterfalls Trail. Clean water available and elson point emptying available as long as you use organic chemicals.

Ik was niet blij met Nothing really - although a dog barking for hours on our first night was a bit annoying.

Ik was blij met Everything was perfect, the facilities were very clean, the site itself was in the most amazing location with beautiful views, very close to the waterfalls, the pitch was huge and being able to pick where you pitch up was a huge bonus also being able to have your own fire pit at night was lovely and the cheap wood they provided was excellent. Also staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Amazing experience!!.

Ik was blij met Visited mid week so not too busy. For the price it's not too bad. It's not the last word in luxury, but for the price it's fine.

Ik was niet blij met What i didn't like was on two occasions people drove into the campsite at 10pm and unbelievably two cars turned up at midnight. They could do with locking the gate at 10pm to stop midnight callers.
