Ik was blij met Located in a quiet part of the Welsh countryside which may not suit everyone but was ideal for us. Individual electric hook up and water supply to each pitch. Toilet and shower facilities with communal fridge freezer, washing machine and dryer, absolutely first class. Staff friendly and helpful. Site also has it's own fishing lakes. Very affordable.

Ik was niet blij met Had a slight problem connecting with WiFi using PayPal, it said connected but it was intermittent. Not a major problem though. Would definitely stay here again, maybe in one of their lodges.

Ik was blij met Beautiful and quiet site with very friendly owners. Brilliant facilities - some of the best we’ve ever used! Spacious pitches - and best of all, no phone signal or internet!

Ik was niet blij met Not a dislike, but just to note that we were told Llanfair Caerinion is closer than Welshpool for supplies if needed!

Ik was blij met Spacious pitch in a quiet area—at night, we could hear nothing but the sheep, which didn’t bother us at all. The toilets were very clean and never busy. A water tap was conveniently available next to the pitch. We forgot the pump for our air tent, but the owners came to help immediately and brought their pump. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return in the future

Ik was blij met Absolutely amazing site! Very clean plenty of space and the peace and quiet was bliss!

Toilet and shower facilities where kept immaculate and the fresh smell when walking in was so refreshing, the tent pitches where very spacious most tent plots had water just behind them with the electric hookup points.

The park was a hit with our children who enjoyed plenty of time there with lots for them to do, the hill embankment behind the tent pitches was also another hit being able to watch the sunset over the fields and see the sheep in the field next to us.

Park owers/workers where very friendly and welcoming and we would definitely return to this site. We stayed 3 nights for just a short break to reset before the school/work rush again in september and it was just what we needed!

Option of WiFi when arriving for a small charge but we wasn't bothered about having our phones as we came to get away from everything for a few days.

Ik was niet blij met Already new this before booking as we do research on the area, there isn't much around the site in terms of days out/towns closest town was 30 min drive but as I said we new this already and chose this site for a quiet chilled no rush few days away

Ik was blij met This was the first time that we have stayed at Carmel Caravan Park and we can’t wait to come back again. This has got to be the best campsite that we have camped in as a family so far. We were greeted on arrival with a warm welcome and everything that we needed to know was explained to us. We were then taken down to our camping pitch where the pitch services (water and electric hook up) were explained to us. All of the friendly and helpful staff work really hard and the whole caravan park is kept immaculate. Each time that we went into the toilet/shower block everything looked pristine. We loved that there is a speed limit throughout the caravan park which made us feel very safe and we could watch our children safely playing on the playground equipment whilst our dog was exercising in the adjacent secure dog exercise area. The fishing was great and we had the choice of many pools to fish in. We also had regular visits from the neighbouring Peacocks and we enjoyed listening to the various sounds of the wildlife and farm animals which we don’t get to experience living in the city. They really have thought of everything to make the campers have an enjoyable, relaxing, safe and happy stay. We look forward to booking for another stay soon. Thank you Carmel Caravan Park.

Ik was niet blij met In the middle of nowhere but for people who want that it's perfect but not for a family with children.
No signal
Paid for Internet and it kept dropping out
Children were not allowed ti play with their footballs

Ik was niet blij met Didn't make sense the WiFi I think it should be included in the price for the stay and I think they should be rules about the noise it was very noisy with some campers or the music was so loud , I think you should have a warden from time to time and checking the noise level
