Ik was blij met: Location and surroundings were excellent. Beautiful scenery and the gold course is so picturesque. Nice, quiet and peaceful camp site. Also the facilities were very clean.

Ik was niet zo blij met: Was not a fan of the pub located on site, however that's just personal preference.

Ik was blij met: Large Family site made up of statics, seasonal and some touring pitches. Has a bar/cafe which was open on Friday and Saturday evenings (no dogs allowed in bar) Nice toilet/shower block. If you walk off the site and turn left walk a few mins down the lane you come to a gorgeous golf club where you can also eat and drink. Tesco, Aldi and Morrisons only about 6 miles away in Newtown. WIFI was hit and miss even using sites free WiFi.

Ik was blij met: Location. Lakeside Golf Club had great service and food at very good price.

Ik was niet zo blij met: What a shame what could have been excellent facilities were let down by dirty toilets and showers and overflowing bins. Were there two days before anyone showed up to clean them probably because the bank holiday was imminent. You couldnt even do the courtesy mop of floor for the next user as the mop and bucket there was filthy and remained so after the cleaner left. Just feel the site was let down by insufficient cleaning most sites when busy clean every day.

Ik was blij met: Friendly staff and very clean and tidy site. The children's play area and dog walking area were a real bonus. The shower and toilet block were spotless. The site has a clubhouse that served very reasonably priced food and has a pool table which my 12 year old loved. We did use the clubhouse and was it lovely, but had to sit outside as we have two dogs and dogs aren't allowed in. Castell Powis only 15 away. We also visited Welshpool, Montgomery and Newtown which were only a short drive away. Wifi was poor but we didn't need it as we had good phone service. We would highly recommend this site and would definately go back.

Ik was blij met: Friendly welcome. Lovely walks along canal. On bank of River Severn. Easy access off main A road but far enough away for it not to disturb peace. Lovely cream tea at The Nags Head at top of road - best scones tasted in a long while.

Ik was blij met: Level pitches, lovely clean facilities, very quiet and right on the banks of the river Severn 👌 owners were fabulous , even going to the golf club next door to secure a table for dinner for us 👍 lovely dog exercise area 🐕

Ik was blij met: Well organised, very clean, great onsite club serving drinks and food. Welcomed straight away and shown to our pitch. We played pool in the clubhouse in the evening and enjoyed a drink.

Ik was niet zo blij met: Not a ‘dislike’ as such, but toilet wise there were only 2 women's cubicles, and 2 men’s cubicles. If it would have been improved it would nice to have a few more. Fine in October, but in the summer it may be a little busier.

Ik was blij met: Cheerful greeting, large gravel pitch,,clean toilet blocks ,Lovely club house ,very reasonable price ,short walk to golf course brilliant food
