Cwm Wye Camping

Ik was blij met Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay in our campervan. I cant say enough good things about it.
The facilities are simple but effective, and have everything you need. Back to basics as it should be when your camping :). The compost toilets are well maintained, and we loved the design of the showers!
It's a small site, with limited pitches, which ensures the tranquility and peace is maintained.
The surroundings are beautiful, we walked from the site, and ambled along the river wye, into Builth for a pub lunch, before heading back for toasted marshmallows in the woodland fire circle. The perfect way to spend a day.
The little woodland is the ideal spot for shelter, play and a chill in the hammocks. I have deffinately found my new happy place. And it was lovely to meet you Tanya!

Ik was blij met A wonderful little campsite on a working sheep farm, tucked away near Builth Wells. We stayed four nights with our trailer tent on one of the special wood-chip pitches, which suited us perfectly; plenty of space and a great spot right by the oak wood.

Great views, a proper campfire pit, and overall a wonderfully tranquil place to unwind. Facilities are minimal but well thought out, and somehow that only adds to the charm. We loved all the sheep and the birdsong too. Waking up here is something special.

The owner was genuinely welcoming; she came out to help us settle in and we ended up chatting for a good while. That personal touch makes all the difference. We’d happily come back.

Ik was blij met This is a great little camping. Very quiet, with basic but clean and well functioning toilets and showers, and some nice little extras like the extra stove we could use to heat our kettle when we had run out of gas ourselves, and some extra cooking gear. The camping owner is very friendly and helpful. No electricity whatsoever, so be prepared!

Ik was blij met We loved it here- it was really peaceful and spacious and we were sad not to stay longer. There’s lovely woodland for shade from the sun, benches and cover if it rains. Tania the host, was absolutely lovely, so chatty and giving of her time and facilities! There’s the beautiful river wye at the bottom of the field and I got to see a kingfisher whilst I was down there. We will definitely be back!

I appreciate the toilets are not flushable toilets they are compost so they are different but I do empty and clean them 3 times a day to make sure they are as fresh as possible but I totally understand they are not for everybody and I appreciate everyone’s opinion 😊
