Ik was blij met: Clean and new generous pitch size. All 5 pitches close to service block.

Ik was niet zo blij met: What limited facilities there are, they are first class, new and very clean. However the down side for us was that these facilities are open to the public. This is not an enclosed site. No warden 24/7. If you are an older couple like us there was no sense of security or of help after hours should you need it. With only one shower, when a car drove up and 3 people showered one at a time, the wait time for the shower was nearly 90 minutes. Last point, on arrival we called the out of hours number with a query and gave our details but no call back received.

Ik was blij met: Toilet and showering facilities were clean and modern. Best we have been to. No hassles in booking and setting up 15 mins from the lovely Eoropie beach and 30-40 minutes from Stornoway.

Ik was niet zo blij met: Not much not to like. More showers would be good although you can use the facilities in the adjacent business centre too.

Ik was blij met: Nice quiet location, and advertised with showers and toilet facility.

Ik was niet zo blij met: There is only 1 shower in the disabled toilet, and a sticker on the shower saying don't use on high setting. The shower has low water flow, and low temperature. Unuseable, and if we had known we would not have booked. The annoying point is we dropped the site an email to advise, and they said it was the first they knew and it must be low water presure. It was not low water pressure as we pointed out as the taps work fine. What was dissapointing is that looking at the reviews, they did know about the issue as a reviewer advised them 2 months earlier, and that it was not water pressure also! Make your own mind up if you want to stay and pay £30 for no shower!

Ik was blij met: Great bathroom facilities and EHU on a basic site. Great spot for sunset and travel onwards to the lighthouse and north Lewis. Washing line is round the far side of the toilet block to dry towels.

Ik was niet zo blij met: Pitches are allocated but no email or text and no one on site to see when arriving. No bother really, apart from a slightly perplexed Dutch man and his family who had a MH pitch allocated… we didn’t have any instructions about it so had parked up in his spot. All fine between us but very different information emailed out post booking through the different websites we had both booked through.

Ik was blij met: Lovely location, ideal spot. Facilities were excellent, spotless and very warm. Slightly higher in price for a pitch.

Ik was niet zo blij met: Was told on pitchup I could arrive at 12pm, after I paid was told 2pm by campsite, wifi doesn't reach to pitch, chemical waste closed because tank full, the reason I came!

Ik was blij met: Amazing location, brilliantly clean, really good facilities, only a few pitches but beware the midges if its calm.
