Ik was blij met: The kitchen tent outside the bell tent was a great idea had everything you need loved the arm chairs very Comfy loved the idea of the log burner but we didn't light it. the bed was very comfortable very private and quiet the facilities were very good we were made to fell very welcome

Ik was blij met: Welcomed on arrival and given all the information for site and places to see nearby. The site is very well maintained and just the right size for a peaceful break. Facilities are basic but clean and there to use without any additional hassle or costs. I had my puppy with me and was able to walk around the site. The site is on a road with no footway so this was a bonus.

Ik was niet zo blij met: You need to drive to go anywhere. It’s not one for walking to the local. To be honest, not even sure there was a local within driving distance. The west coast of Scotland is like going back in time. Don’t expect pretty seaside towns with good coffee and artisan bread. Everywhere is bacon rolls and burger and chips from a greasy cafe.

Ik was blij met: What an idyllic site. It has everything you need (toilet, shower, washing up sink) and nothing else. Ray & Jane are great hosts, I’ll definitely be heading back soon.

Ik was blij met: Facilities were good and they even had a fridge for campers. Pretty camping spots without car access.

Ik was blij met: We absolutely loved this campsite … secluded pitches and great facilities along with wonderful hosting 😊 We will be back 😊🏕️😊

Ik was blij met: Ray and Jane are amazing hosts,super friendly and so helpful. really enjoyed the spacious pitch that came with a fire pit and a gazebo , pitches were well spaced out for privacy and shelter, Great place to base yourself for exploring the surrounding area such as stranraer and port patrick . Site was very clean and tidy and well laid out.also pretty quiet and peaceful with no kids running around(bonus). overall an awesome place

Ik was blij met: Lovely peaceful location, yet the ferry port at Craigyarn is very close. And with a safe 3 acre woodland site to explore, great for dogs.

Ik was blij met: Friendly helpful owners and lovely spacious pitch with lots of privacy. Lots of extras you don't get anywhere else, like a pizza oven you can borrow and my pitch had a gazebo bigger than my tent you could use for socialising if you've got friends on the trip or family. There's even a kettle and a fridge freezer for campers to use.
