Castle Bay Holiday and Residential Park

Ik was blij met: We loved this site, staff we polite and cheerful at reception on check in. The site was very clean, grounds and toilet block which means everything to my wife. The views of the castle and out to sea were exceptional on a sunny day which we were blessed with.

Ik was blij met: When I arrived I was greeted by Garry who explained everything and directed me to pitch. Unfortunately I couldn’t get my campervan roof up so went back and Garry helped and we managed to free it so a massive thank you to him otherwise I would have been going home!! The pitch view was stunning, the weather was superb, the walks were wonderful so overall an excellent site, excellent service and I will certainly be back.

Ik was blij met: View was amazing. Very clean and well kept. Loved the coastal walks were nearby.

Ik was blij met: Lovely site nice walks we visit twice a year it is a very clean site well looked after nice walks along the cliffs and also a nice walk in to port Patrick also some good fishing spots

Ik was blij met: Loved the view of the castle and out over the sea. The wind was blowing a hooley the night we arrived which made setting up some fun. Really good site, facilities top notch. Dark, dark night from around 8pm to 6am, so a good torch needed to wander around at night. The following morning, the wind had died down to a gentle breeze, great start to the morning being able to have a walk around the site and get better view of the castle. Had a trip down to the harbour for food and drink, all good and just what needed to kick off our mini tour of the south west of Scotland.

Ik was niet zo blij met: I was aware very quickly after I booked that I was unable to manage these dates. Emailed the company with plenty notice on two occasions to request a change of date Still waiting on a reply to doth emails. If this lack of basic communication is the level they offer, won't be using them . All other sites I have used have communicated promptly to all communication. Very disappointed.

Ik was blij met: Beautifully clean facilities with amazing views. Lovely sunset. Only stayed one night. Good for dog walking but you need sturdy shoes.

Ik was niet zo blij met: Not a great site if you have mobility issues. It's quite a long walk to the shower block and you need a code which, of course, I kept forgetting. Should have had it tattooed on my forehead. This is a great site for lots of people, it just didn't work for me personally.
