Country View Camping

Ik was blij met: We had a wonderful 2 night stay. Perfect location. The site is very peaceful, lots of open space for kids to play, a park and the owners even put up an inflatable assault course which my boys loved. Breakfast was amazing- owners couldn't do enough for us and went out of their way to make our weekend enjoyable. It is like an enchanted village of a night with all the fairy lights. It was a clear night when we stayed so we were able to stargaze- perfect location for this as no light pollution- we were even lucky enough to spot a barn owl. My boys gave this site a 10/10. We would definitely return.

Ik was niet zo blij met: Didn't dislike anything just a couple of suggestions; Even though parking was close and a small walk I would suggest wheelbarrows for taking stuff from car to tents again not necessary would just ne a nice to have. Also we didn't like the coffee for £3.50 we found it expensive for an instant coffee. Again all suggestions we had the best time and I wouldn't hesitate to book.

Ik was blij met: Site was beautiful. Friendly staff, lovely dog. Evening entertainment was a welcomed added bonus. Facilities clean and tidy.

Ik was blij met: Beautiful location and lovely welcoming hosts, were really made to feel like part of the family. Clean showers and washing up area. Kids loved the play area. The old goat bar was fantastic with the wood burner and some pretty awesome food at reasonable prices. Breakfast especially was yummy. We stayed in the bell tents, they were beautifully presented and spacious even with 5 of us sharing.

Ik was niet zo blij met: The weather sucked although that isn't on the hosts lol, this did mean we couldn't cook our own food or make coffee, this was the only down point, not having a covered area to use our own cooking facilities at a safe distance from the tents.

Ik was blij met: A very warm and welcoming family run site. Facilities were always spotlessly clean as was the Bell tent we stayed in.

Ik was blij met: A quiet spot in nature with enchanting fairy lights guiding us in the night. Clean facilities and a very warm welcome. We loved our stay!

Ik was blij met: Had the most amazing experience at Country View Camping! Was totally shocked how luxurious our glamping experience was. The crew went above and beyond. Supplied us with an Alexa, power bank and even helped us set up a fire for the kids for marshmallow roasting. They have a lovely breakfast cafe in the morning and great coffee too! Communal shower and toilets that were sparkling clean! You could not beat a family experience like this. Can’t wait to book our next glamping trip with them!

Ik was blij met: Amazing campsite with great facilities (showers, toilets). There is a cafe open in the morning - definitely recommend the full breakfast!

Ik was blij met: Patrick and Robert very friendly and welcoming and always at hand if needed anything. Facilities very clean. Setting quiet and relaxing. Plenty of space in tent, inside tent very homely and cowry feel.

Ik was blij met: Wonderful lovely place made special by Patrick the owner. View of the Iron Age hill fort at sunset was beautiful. We used our own tent but will be back to use one one of the amazing bell tents
