Country View Camping

Ik was blij met Very friendly owner, lovely field to camp on. Playground was near and we were able to sit and watch the kids from the tents.
Very clean toilet/shower block, never got low on toilet roll/blue roll/hand soap!
Little club house which was great in the evenings! And a lovely bit you can sit under cover and chill. Will definitely be returning

Ik was blij met The owner was fab, pitch really easy to access - children play area and bouncy castle was an added bonus- great clean and easy to use toilets. The bar area was fantastic with pool darts and foosball

Ik was blij met We came as a group of 13 adult and 3 young children (1, 2 and 3 yrs) and have to say it’s one of the best campsites we’ve stayed at. The facilities for the children were amazing, a big playground with added play house, a picnic area with a giant connect four, bouncy castle and slide and music in the evening in the bar area.
There was a washing up station with two sinks and a huge bathroom area with plenty of toilets and showers. The campsite is close to local villages to explore and is a great location as half of us came from Wales and the other half from Hertfordshire. The owner was absolutely amazing and catered to our needs and was happy for us to set up our tents how we wanted. Thank you!! We will be back!

Ik was blij met Friendly welcome. Relaxed nature of where to pitch etc

Ik was niet blij met Not owners fault but in a large field we pitched in huge space ( only one other casual tent), came back later to find still fairly empty field but two more tents quiteclose to our and after hour and a half of screaming kids from their tent, we abandoned the site, packed our tent and headed home instead.

Van de manager: Hi guys thank you for you feed back . So sorry you didnt see the charger points in the outside pergola and we also have charger packs available in club house and plugs in club house to charge devices

we are also planning to put signs outside we are waiting on approval from local council

Ik was blij met The location was beautiful. Beds were clean and comfy. There was a bar on site. Showers were clean but water was cold. Owners were lovely. I think this site is in its early days and would be better in a few years.

Ik was niet blij met The tent was really moldy. They wanted an extra £40 for the fire pit- it should be included. Most of the toilets had ‘out of order’ on, only one was working. There was a cockral in the adjacent field constantly making noise.

Van de manager: we do not reply always and very much appreciate feed back but in this case we must . The spots on tent are black marks not mold the tents are taken down and professionally cleaned and sealed at the end of every season and its the only tent that has said marks. In regards to the toilet block one shower out of 6 and 1 toilet out of 6 had out of order signs due to a leak that has been fixed . In regards to the bbq and fire pits you get you kilm dry wood kindling fire lighters fire pit and bbq all in the price . unfortunately we cant post pictures on are reply but the state you left the tent in was appalling you also did not once speak to us or raise any concerns with me or my staff .

we are a small family run campsite we love what we do and truly enjoy welcoming amazing familys to are wonderful site. Bad misleading reviews like yours can be very harmful. Maybe you might read the other review we had from other campers that stayed from pitch up same weekend as you who absolutely loved there 3 night stay as did are other guests on said weekend.

Ik was blij met We stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The owner Patrick upgraded us on arrival which we were so grateful for.

The cabin was very spacious, plenty of sockets to charge devices and the mattresses were comfy.

The toilet/shower facilities were kept clean and tidy and we were happy about the shower blocks being large enough to store your clothes/ get changed in there.

It was also nice to have a pint in the pub after a long day travelling with the bonus of free entertainment.

Finally, we liked the fact that they had trolleys to carry your bags to the cabins, saved doing multiple trips.

Ik was blij met Great place to put your tent up,⛺️ good view of a old hill fort with burial mounds on the top in the distance. will be visiting again next year.

Ik was blij met The kids facilities. Great to have a playground, bouncy castle and space for football. Kids loved being at the playground first thing in the morning.

The view was lovely.

Ik was niet blij met The toilet/sink/shower block was not pleasant. Toilets should be separate to showers at least and was not particularly clean.

The camp beds for the kids were really uncomfortable and generally didn't find the bell tents that cosy or comfortable. For the cost I didn't think it was worth it and honestly not sure why the ratings are so high.
