Garslade Farm

Ik was blij met Nice quiet site, a working farm, lovely warm welcome from owner Bridget. Adequate and clean toilet and shower facilities, although a little tired (shower temperature variable due to the sporadic water supply which the owner explained can be affected when the cows drink from the troughs!) Fridge and freezer available in outhouse. You pitch where you like, although we found it was getting a bit crowded when we were there as there was no delineation of pitches. Ideally located for Wells and Glastonbury.

Ik was blij met To be welcomed with such a warm and very friendly atmosphere from the start and then given the choice of which pitch is best for your stay couldn't be any better

Ik was blij met A lovely and clean rural and rustic campsite on aworking dairy farm. Staff where friendly and helpfull. Great views of glastonbury Tor. Within easy distance of many local attractions.

Ik was blij met Very peaceful site, near to all tourist attractions if that is your thing.
Being on the Levels there are all kinds of wild flora and fauna to be found.
The site amenities are rustic and kept clean, with hot showers and hot washing up facilities.
You are given a choice of pitches when you arrive.

Ik was niet blij met Not a criticism, but take some leveling blocks for some of the pitches.
We chose to pitch on a slope and forgot to bring blocks.
We very kindly used some old firebricks, from the site.

Ik was blij met Lovely basic campsite. So peaceful, no road noise or light pollution so perfect for stargazing.
Hosts were so helpful and loads to do in the surrounding area. Will definitely be back.

Ik was niet blij met Too far to walk to Glastonbury and no buses buses were advertised on internet not on garslade farm site but when we got there no buses cab about 13.00

Ik was blij met Has everything you need, toilets, shower, washing up area, chemical waste, grey water disposal.
Pitches are large and spacious.
Close to Glastonbury centre, Street and Wells.
Owner is friendly and helpful.
This was our second time staying and we will definitely be coming back.

Ik was niet blij met Not really a dislike but more lighting at night to get to the toilets would be useful. But the torch on my phone did the job. .
One thing that was really lovely was a bat flying close to the lit up toilets, catching the insects. It was amazing and was the closest I have ever been to a bat.
