Ik was blij met: Overall a positive experience, facilities were very nice and super clean, we thought the dishwashing station was particularly good. Good location, the walk into Lyme Regis is really nice and all along a footpath so no worries about walking down country roads with cars. We had a non electric simple pitch, the location was private and quiet and had a gorgeous view. Staff in the reception and shop were very friendly and helpful throughout.

Ik was niet zo blij met: Wouldn’t have expected to have to pay extra for the showers and having to rely on exact 20p coins for this was slightly annoying. The other thing that could have improved the site for us would have been a bit more flexibility on arrival times, we actually had to find an alternative campsite for our first night because we got stuck in traffic and would have arrived after 8pm which is their last cutoff for letting people into the site (even though it’s june and is still light after that time for pitching). They do clearly state the arrival times on the website to be fair to them, but plenty of other sites offer more leniency on this and it did make the drive down quite stressful having to seek an alternative site when it became clear we wouldn’t make it on time.

Ik was blij met: Clean & hot showers. Nicely laid out with pitches scattered around the park, with good views for sunrise and sunset. Friendly, helpful owners. Beautiful countryside, walking distance to Lyme Regis. Will definitely return.

Ik was blij met: We only stayed there a night but will be coming back! Pitches were great, facilities were immaculate and staff very friendly. A well stocked onsite shop too! We didn’t take the walk into Lyme Regis but went there in the car, which only took 10 mins (if that). A great place and will be returning for sure!

Ik was blij met: Very easy to find and a friendly welcome on arrival. The pitch was a good size and amazing views. The facilities were very clean and well kept. Loved the addition of freezer for your ice blocks. A very peaceful site

Ik was blij met: This is a beautiful campsite surrounded with trees. We heard owls amd woodpeckers and saw bats flitting about. The facilities were clean and numerous and the shop well stocked. The staff were welcoming and friendly. It was just a short drive from Lyme Regis beach front and there's lots to do nearby. I recommend this site to families and nature lovers.

Ik was blij met: Great site with a beautiful footpath walk into Lyme Regis which took 45 minutes.

Ik was blij met: super friendly staff, nice little shop, scenery awesome, site was peaceful , toilets / showers clean. Loved the pop up food trucks which came to site , nice little touch. Loved the river walk on leaflet to Lyme Regis.

Ik was niet zo blij met: Not much to dislike , things we might have liked is, a pitch with a view as we were told we couldn’t move due to site being full when it wasn’t, showers were Luke warm at one point but I think that was due to number of people using them at once. More info on local area and some free walking maps instead of having to pay from the shop. Paid for wifi for my daughter but it didn’t really work, we was offered a refund but don’t think this should be payable if you know in advance it’s not very good on site. Overall lovely little site and would go back again if passing.

Van de manager: We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us and the lovely walk to Lyme. Our wifi is run by an outside company. Due to the wet Spring we had some pitches shut off for the grass to recover which is why the park was not full. Thankfully the weather is now improving. We hope you can come and visit us again soon.
