Ik was blij met Beautiful, simple, naturalistic setting, rustic but well thought out, nicely designed facilities including excellent showers and nice big fire pits, well located for access to Lyme Regis and Charmouth, and obvious care, time and thought put in to minimising the environmental impact of the site.

Ik was niet blij met Despite the tranquility of the location there was a surprising amount of road noise into the night, obviously not the fault of the site but a bit of a shame. The site was almost empty during our stay so understandably no coffee or pizza, just would have been nice to know this in advance. No pub/shops in easy walking distance, so come prepared to be self sufficient.

Ik was blij met This was such a lovely quiet campsite a real chance to immerse yourself in nature. Quiet, dark and ideal for time away from it all. The sea views are a bonus. Showers were warm and powerful and the composting toilets were clean and did not smell. I will be back.

Ik was blij met Back to basics camping, lovely location and amazing view from the loo. Also liked that you could choose pitch, rather than being told where to go.

Ik was blij met Loved the views and peaceful atmosphere. Great for dog walkers with a wood bordering the site. Utility areas kept clean.

Ik was blij met The campsite was very relaxed. Having no music was actually really nice and peaceful.
Mew, the owner was amazing and he went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble.
We wished we hadn't booked last minute because we missed out on putting in our order for his home made pizzas on the Friday night. The pizzas looked amazing and so many people were sat in his garden whilst he cooked them in the outside pizza oven.
Our van had broken down 5 minutes from the campsite and he came straight out to tow us to the campsite. Then he dropped us to the station at the end of the holiday.
Everyone staying there were very friendly but equally you could keep yourselves to yourselves if you wanted to. Each pitch had its own recycling area and its own firepit.. You could buy bags of wood if you needed to, at half the price it was in the shops.
The showers were lovely and hot and the toilets had a great view and were very clean (especially for composting toilets). The view from the campsite across the valley was stunning
We will definitely be returning and will be staying for longer!

Ik was blij met Veryquiet, good showers if you want remote and quiet this one’s for you

Ik was niet blij met Extra narrow lanes and quite a trek up through them to the farm, especially in a van, the “sea view” is very distant, pizza oven and coffee hut is never open, no way of knowing when and if it ever does, no one in attendance, not how it’s made to look online and instagram
