Ik was niet zo blij met: We arrived and when we pulled in the grass was all overgrown, everything was untidy and run down, we were followed in by a black lab dog and we drove in the site and got stuck in the van due to the poor ground conditions. When we attempted to get out of being stuck a gentleman stood and the entrance waving his arms around and then a few minutes later arrived in his land rover by which point we had got ourselves out. My partner got out to talk to him and he was rather short with my partner. Immediately we felt like we were not welcome on site. We parked up on the hardstanding area. We booked to visit with our dog, the black lab would not leave our van and was trying to get in our van etc. The owner didn't atempt to take his dog with him when he left and didn't seem to carr that the dog had not left with him. We left and found a more welcoming site further up the road.

Ik was blij met: We were the only people there! The site was amazing - basic but that's how we like it. Camped next to a bubbling stream with no other sounds in a beautiful valley. The firepit and long drop were great and our dog made friends with 'Bear' the dog, who came to visit. The road just before and after the site was pot-holed and tight for our T4 - but this wasn't a big deal. We'll definately be back.

Ik was blij met: Lovely peaceful wild camping spot, slept to the sound of the river and a wonderful woodland walk in the morning.

Ik was blij met: The owners were really friendly and helped me to pick out a good pitch stop (Their dog bear was also adorable and very friendly). The area was beautiful and so peaceful, it was a great escape from the busy world 😍

Ik was blij met: We absolutely loved it here, complete freedom and back to basics. The campsite was easy to find using the what three words location, water and washing up station simple to use, and the composting toilet was as expected (though the climb to it was steeper than it looked!). Our children loved the play area and we spent hours there, but most of all, our dog loved the resident dog Bear! They became good friends and Bear was an excellent tour guide through the woods when he joined us 😝 There were some clear pitches that we obviously popular and relatively flat, and the stream was easily accessed to get water for washing up and washing. A great campsite for those like us who want a field and freedom!

Ik was niet zo blij met: The path up to the toilet was an overgrown, fine for adults but all the plants were just at our 5 year olds height which wasn’t ideal. It wouldn’t put us off staying at all, but would be handy not to have to carry him up the steps!

Ik was blij met: Lovely spot with fire pits and river. Nice walk straight from the campsite through the woods.
