Ik was niet blij met Just that little bit of noise from the main road but it wouldn’t stop us returning.
Maybe more showers and toilets.

Ik was blij met Absolutely amazing holiday. 9 nights. No problems. Hosts are delightful. The tent we hired was clean, well maintained, and very spacious with everything needed to ease you through your camping experience. The site very well looked after, with good facilities. The open shop with the honesty box is also a very useful touch. We didn't get to try the pizza night ( hand made and cooked in a traditional stone oven) put on by the hosts, but returned in the evening to notice it was a big sucess with the other guests that did. Highly recommend a stay. Big thanks to the hosts.

Ik was blij met Loved the location of Roey's Retreat, an easy drive down to lovely Clovelly Harbour. Not far from Bude either so an easy trip there for the beach. Lots of space for each pitch and the glamping tent is amazing. My friend stayed in here and there was plenty of room for the 8 of us travelling together to sit on their veranda and light the chimnea.
The toilets were nice and clean, as were the showers which were hot. You put in a pound coin which gives you 5 minutes which was plenty. Hooks on the doors were handy and also a pull down seat.
There were swings for the kids and still plenty of room for them to run around.
Unfortunately, I didn't get to have any of Nick's pizza which was cooked on Saturday night - apparently I missed a treat.
Karen and Nick were on hand should we have needed them, very friendly and approachable.

Ik was blij met Fantastic site. Karen & Nick very hardworking to make sure your stay is the best.
Attention to detail is clear for a lovely stay. The Bell tent was home from home, again with homely detail, (Rugs, pillows, fridge, lighting, and the boat kitchen area all added up to a very comfortable stay).

Ik was blij met Fantastic site for camping and central for Bude, Westward Ho or Clovelly.
Facilties clean and tidy, honesty shop really handy and pizzas on a Saturday night were lovely.
Nick and Karen really helpful and always on hand to help, would definitely go back ☺️

Ik was blij met Everything. Amazing little campsite. All the staff are super helpful, the site is well maintained and even the resident chickens are happy.

Ik was blij met Nice and spacious, good facilities and friendly staff. Good location for access to local spots of interest. The little on-site shop was well-stocked.

Ik was niet blij met A bit of road noise and a resident rooster with no idea about time of day. Both tended to quiet down in time for sleep though.

Ik was blij met Great people Karen/Nick, friendly. Whole site seemed friendly. Well behaved dogs weren’t told to be tied up which is also great.
Pizza night on Saturdays. Very trusting shop to help yourself to and pay using the float provided. Really nice touch (albeit a little marked up)

Ik was niet blij met Not a complaint but, noisy and really fast road the other side of the hedge. Didn’t spoilt it for us as we’ll go again
Shower- happy to pay but would ask for continuous water not push button control. Again not a complaint.
