Ik was blij met Wow 🤩 LOVED EVERYTHING. Didn’t want to leave. Found a wonderful secluded pitch by the river…and swam every day followed by a glorious wood fired sauna.
Charlie the owner and his lovely wife couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. I left (reluctantly) (and after staying more days than originally planned) with a smile on my face and batteries feeling completely re-charged. Looking forward to when I can return already 😊

Ik was blij met Had a fantastic stay over the weekend with the kids, great place to get away. The owner is a great bloke, very friendly and welcoming. Kids really enjoyed the river swims and sauna. They said it was the best camping trip ever!

Ik was blij met Very quiet and beautiful.
Great if you are totally off grid.

Ik was niet blij met Lack of facilities, especially water.
Friendly staff, however when offered to fill up our water bottle it took 3 hours on the first day and the second day we handed it over at 9:30 am and when we decided to leave early we had to go and find it at 5:30pm.

Van de manager: I’m truly sorry I didn’t manage to fetch you your water on time. Entirely my fault due to workload during busy times. Senior moment I’m afraid.

Just to reiterate there is a large 1000 litre fresh water tank located in the main camp where you could have filled up with water at any time during your stay.

Happy to offer you a free stay at camp next time due to the inconvenience caused.

Ik was blij met The location was beautiful and unusual - far off the beaten path - and the host is both friendly and goes out of his way to make sure you're happily situated.
It's more rugged than a lot of campsites but that's a boon if you're looking for something closer to nature and closer to wild camping (but still has toilets).
The main site is surrounded on all sides by mature trees and the river runs right along where I chose to camp. It was such a nice experience falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the river and the birds I stuck around longer than planned.
As a lone female traveller I both enjoyed my stay and felt safe and able to approach the host if I didn't.

Ik was blij met The owner was really friendly, helpful and accommodating. It’s a nice location to unwind and take a break from technology as there is no signal, there were not many other campers nearby and there was the option to choose a more remote camping location if required. There were plenty of fire pits, trampolines and a hot sauna available all day.

Ik was niet blij met Not a dislike, but a heads up that the site feels wild and rugged, as there are no showers and only one working toilet during our visit. There were plenty of fun things to do but not all equipment is brand new.

Ik was blij met Wonderful location, truly beautiful. Incredibly helpful owner who couldn’t do enough to support. Lots of equipment to keep family entertained. Though we wanted a more private spot which was accommodated. The sauna was excellent and we’d highly recommend people get in the river to enjoy this. Have already recommended to friends and family.

Ik was niet blij met It would have been useful to have a stand up washing up station eg a bowl on a table near the bowser.

Ik was blij met Amazing family who own the place. Extremely friendly and available to help where possible! The land was so beautiful and being next to the river was just the cherry on top. Had lots of communal areas to spend family time, and the sauna is an added bonus.
As a wheelchair user I find it hard to go to most places but here I felt welcomed and could relax nicely.
Lots of space to park up and pitch up where you would like to. Had such an amazing week there and can't wait to visit again next year.

Ik was blij met Amazing place. Amazing host. I loved continuous banter with him. Our dogs were delighted by freedom and happiness. River with wild brown trouts gave me a lot of fun. What to tell more. Green everywhere, birds, gentle sound of cristal clear river. I recommend in 100%.
