Lower Coombe Royal Glamping

It may seem like a bit of a wrench to leave your lovely little hideaway – but it’s worth doing, as the South Hams is an absolutely stunning area to explore. The coastline here is packed with sandy beaches, quiet coves and spectacular walks on the South West Coast Path. South Milton Sands, Bantham beach and the lovely town of Salcombe are all about 15 minutes’ drive away. Salcombe can also be accessed via ferry down the estuary from Kingsbridge, but that’s not the only way to get out on the water here, as the area’s full of places to surf, launch canoes or paddleboards or go wild swimming. While the coast is the main draw for many guests, it’s worth also looking inland for walks in the Dartmoor National Park or rides on the South Devon Railway (both half an hour’s drive) or assorted antics at Woodlands Family Theme Park (20 minutes).
