Ik was blij met: Very peaceful, very clean facilities. Lovely vibe, incredible views. Great value for money. Buy the eggs at the house they taste amazing. Will definitely be coming back!

Ik was blij met: First of all, Pitchup - what is middle aged? We are 42... and still can keep up and overtake!! Ok, the review, The view was lush, we weathered a few heavy showers, some little wind but each shower bought the most amazing view. The facilities was what you would expect, in a field and on a hill but the showers was warm, the clean up area was tidy and the general atmosphere allowed us to chill with our dog, eat food and drink good wine. Would recommend and will be returning - if only for the view.

Ik was blij met: Location is perfect for back to basics camping, the views are incredible and we really appreciated all the space on offer. We felt as though we were alone the whole trip as there was such a huge amount of space between us and our fellow campers. Being able to choose our own pitch suited us perfectly, and the owners were always accessible when needed but didn't invade our privacy which is exactly what we were looking for. The site was extremely windy on a couple of the days we stayed, but that is the price you pay for such spectacular views. Toilets and showers were always immaculately clean. Although there was only 2 of each we didn't have to que at all during our stay. It would have been nice to have another couple of toilets closer to the further end of the camp, but we did choose to be far away from this area. Would definitely visit again.

Ik was blij met: The view is truly amazing! We camp a lot up and down the country but the view from the bottom field is the top! It wasn’t too crowded either. Hosts are very welcoming - home made breakfast baguettes were amazing. Good mobile reception

Ik was blij met: Fantastic long weekend at Girt down Farm, big thank you to Paul & Lesley who are extremely nice and accommodating. This is the best campsite with a view in the UK, amazing sunsets and the whole campsite is not crowded at all!! Toilets, showers and washing up facilities on site along with wood fire cooked pizzas and breakfast options. Short walk/ drive into local seaside village with pubs and local shops and a little bit further for a 10/15 min drive to ilfracombe and a big Tesco. Really good value for money and will definitely be back next year, thanks again! 5 STAR REVIEW ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
