Ik was blij met Loved the whole vibe of Tawny Cottage, nestled in the woods, with the indoor outdoor bring the forest inside with you - made you feel very connected to the earth.

Ik was blij met Wow! What an incredible place. A real gem! Chris and his family have created a real treasure of a spot at Owl Valley. The little touches were so well thought out and it really felt like luxury. Our kids had the best time adventuring and it was encouraged! The shack is brilliant! Chris says nature did all the hard work, but I don’t think it was just nature, him and his family do too. Thank you so so much for having us. We will see you soon!

Overall we were delighted with this last minute stay.

Ik was blij met Chris, the owner, was lovely and nothing was too much. He meets you at the car park on arrival to take your bags for you. We felt extremely welcomed by Chris.
We had the most wonderful time, we stayed in the bell tent, our first experience, and it was wonderful. We had a fire pit with plenty of wood available, we used this as it started to go dark and we made s’mores. We had a barbecue with coals provided which we used for our burgers in the evening. There was a kitchen that was fully equipped with every utensil you could possibly need.
The bed was very comfortable and we both had a really great sleep.
We also used the single futons to put outside to stargaze.
No wifi and signal limited - however this is exactly what we wanted as we wanted to remove technology from our lives for 24 hours.
We are excited to return in the future!
Ik was niet blij met The only thing we didn’t like was hearing other people - however that was down to them being quite loud during the evening, but they were far enough away for us to still have our privacy.

Exceptional stay, loved having no WIFI!!

Ik was blij met Absolutely loved the “off the beaten track” with no phone signal nor WIFI we could emerse ourselves into the full experience. The host as well as the lodge and wood fired hot tub were lovely and cosy, I couldnt believe how effiecient those wood fired hottubs are. Absolutely boiling in a matter of hours. The assistanc eon arrival with our belongings arriving at the lodge was a nice touch, every you need to get away from the rat race of a town or city. Highly recommended!!
Ik was niet blij met If you suffer from bugs being attracted to your skin and blood then do take a strong bug repellent to deter them from having an all you can eat buffet.
