Ik was blij met Hospitality, lovely welcome, help choosing pitch, WiFi, pub a quick ten minute walk away, football ground next door for us to play. Loved the picnic bench table for each pitch, a real help.

Ik was niet blij met Football club changing rooms are the shower block (the club own the site including the camp site). Could’ve been cleaner, dried grass in the changing room and shower cubicles not overly clean.

Thank you for your very fair review.
We control what we can control - good hospitality, friendliness, pitch flexibility, wi-fi, picnic bench and also spend a lot of time keeping the shower and toilet areas clean but if you’ve gone for a shower after someone has left grass from theirs then we obviously can’t clean up after everyone.
However, it sounds like you had a positive stay with us in the main and we hope that your onwards cycling adventures go well 👍🏻

Ik was blij met Pitches flat , handy for local pub at Paul.shower was powerful water hot.

Ik was niet blij met Only one shower, it was a good walk to the showers and toilet.

Ik was blij met Really great views and a flat campsite was a bonus! The hosts were lovely, really welcoming. Great access to Mousehole, down hill by bike, and virtually off-road all around the coast - travelled to Marazion through Newlyn and Penzance - lovely ride and almost flat all the way. A great location with good facilities and easy access, especially with bikes.

Whilst the loos were a walk away - they were really clean and cared for - even though it is AFC Mousehole facilities.

Fantastic to have WiFi!

Loved that the house martins were nesting in the ladies loos - lovely to hear the chicks cheeping 💜🧡

Ik was niet blij met Walk to toilets - although not too bothersome so hasn’t lost stars 🌟 .

We try and make improvements every year and our next project is the construction of a new access road at the top of the site so that campers will be able to avoid the current rough access through the village.

Ik was blij met The site was lovely, flat grass pitches. Great location. Has a cricket ground and a football pitch.

Ik was niet blij met The road up to the campsite has massive potholes and you can’t dodge them.

The showers and toilets are in the football clubhouse, which is a bit of a trek from the pitches. The showers are communal showers.

We explain in our information and on arrival that the showers are shared with the football club so they are a short walk around the pitch.
However, we hope that you found them to be clean and that the showers were hot with good pressure.
We also hope that you found the staff to be helpful, friendly and welcoming.
Regarding the access road, a new tarmac road is being constructed in July which should improve access for campers as part of our ongoing improvements programme.

Ik was blij met A nice flat site, convenient for bus route & coast path.
Sue, the on site host is lovely - warm & friendly with lots of practical local knowledge.
Facilities are exactly as described on their web site and cleaned on a regular basis.

Ik was blij met Peaceful , level campsite , with a ten minute walk to an excellent village pub. We had a friendly welcome.

Ik was niet blij met Nothing, but did not inspect facilities as they were a 5 min walk away. (Only there one night)

Ik was blij met Close to Mousehole, friendly staff at the football club

Ik was niet blij met Facilities are far from the pitches, I’d hate to be in a tent and having to get out for the loo in the night! Shower room in need of attention- mould, flaky paint, rusty holders. The shower didn’t get hot either. This site was expensive at £25 for the night given the poor facilities in comparison to other cheaper sites. Had it been a tenner cheaper I’d have given a much better review as you get what you pay for!

We do wish you had notified us a out the shower at the time, unfortunately surely the trip switch to the power shower had tripped. This would have been a 30 second fix if we had known.

Maybe try us again in the summer, when our full facilities are open and the weather is better.

Ik was blij met Great location for walking & only a few miles from Land's End.
Mousehole is a short walk (although a big hill) and is beautiful.
Great food at the pub 5 minutes walk away.
Plenty of room for the dogs.
Enjoyed the football!

Ik was niet blij met Only one unisex toilet/shower room for the whole site unless the football toilets were open. On a Saturday morning there was a queue of 4 people and you had no idea whether someone was in the shower or how long you would have to wait. However, it was clear when booking that the site had limited shower/toilet facilities during low season.
