Deze camping biedt een rustig, verzorgd toevluchtsoord met vriendelijke, behulpzame eigenaren en de populaire boerderijhond Spud. Ruim opgezette plaatsen garanderen privacy. Faciliteiten: schone sanitairblok, koel/vrieskast beschikbaar. Bezoekers prezen de rustige sfeer en mooie omgeving. Bij drukte waren er soms wachtrijen bij de enkele wc/douche, er komt een nieuwe compost-wc. Controleer tentmaat.

Lovely peaceful site with friendly owners

Ik was blij met What a lovely campsite! The owners were really friendly and helpful and Spud the dog was lovely too! The pitches are well spaced out so even if the campsite is busy you would still have plenty of privacy. They have a couple of firepits available to borrow which made for some lovely evenings sitting by the fire. There was also a little folder in the facilities barn with suggestions and maps of local walks, places to eat and things to do which was a great touch.
I was lucky enough to have the whole site to myself but even if it was full they’ve made a provision for an extra toilet in case someone is in the shower and you’re desperate. The shower and toilet were lovely and clean and the shower was amazing! Fridge/freezer helpful and spacious too, lovely washing up area inside the barn block as well.
Might be a bit of a squeeze if lots of big tents so check the dimensions before you go, luckily I was able to grab the biggest pitch which fitted my Vango 450 tent, but it was snug!
Head torch is essential for the evenings as it has very little light pollution! Also needed to mind out for the toads and newts that appeared on the grass paths once it was dark too!
Overall I had a lovely peaceful and relaxing stay, I will definitely be back, hopefully with better weather next time too!

Perfect first family camping trip!

Ik was blij met Our first time camping & we couldn’t have picked a better place to do it!
Great tent plenty of room for the 5 of us less than a minute walk to bathroom so with 3 young kids it was ideal!
Great hosts kids had the best time!
We will definitely be back!

Ik was blij met What a lovely camp site friendly people and a friendly dog spud.
We will be back next year. I particularly like the space between each tent and the fact that there is only a limited amount of pitches. The facilities are surprisingly nice unlike most other camping sites and a fridge freezer was a nice extra very useful for re freezing the cool bag blocks.

Ik was blij met Everything, it was all perfect! My 2 year old son and dog absolutely loved the environment and facilities especially the land! Everything was lovely, clean and all in working order. The owners were fantastic, after our awful drive down there the owners stayed awake so he could guide us in the dark🥹. The only thing we wish we did was book for longer, as Cornwall will always have my heart! If you are looking for a family get away with lovely owners and neighbours at a fantastic distance so you all have privacy then look now further! We can record this place enough, we will definitely be returning next year!
