Ik was niet blij met Being charged £15 on Pitch Up when it’s £7.50 if you just turn up.

NB despite what is listed on this site there are no hard standing pitches. The pic on this listing of hard standing is of a car park type area that has several broken down vans, bins and a load of bales of hay in black plastic.

There are two sloping fields and the top one has a flat space that can accommodate two campervans.

Review is asking me to select motorhome or tourers but I had neither and was in a campervan.


I see toilets mentioned on the advert, but again none there. The top field has a tap, bottom field has no facilities at all.

No wi fi or phone signal at all on EE

It’s not a bad place to stay, but this listing needs to be changed to reflect what is actually there and the real price.

Mobile Signal: There is typically good EE signal on site, however during your stay, there was a temporary outage affecting the whole of Boscastle. This was unfortunately beyond our control.

Wi-Fi: We do not advertise Wi-Fi on our listing, as it is not available at the site.

Toilet Facilities: There is a plumbed-in toilet clearly marked ‘WC’ located on site next to the sink.

Pricing: Prices on Pitchup are set based on two people sharing. We understand this may have caused some confusion, and we will speak to Pitchup to see if per-person pricing is a possibility in future.

Goodwill Gesture: Steve kindly offered you a free night as a goodwill gesture following the payment issue, which we hope demonstrated our commitment to resolving concerns fairly.

Site Condition: There are no broken-down vans on site.

Drinking Water: There are two taps providing drinking water—one located by the toilets, and another in the bottom field near the gate. Along with the one at the top

Ik was blij met Quiet site, basic facilities (toilet, washing sink and drinking water) but has what was needed for a night or two!
Friendly owner coming round to check in.
Brilliant access to local coast paths.

Ik was blij met Reason we booked was the view and that did not disappoint!! Easy arrival, calling and be told exactly what field and where we could set up and where flushable toilet was. Absolutely gorgeous view and place

Ik was blij met We had the whole field for ourselves. Easy contact and quiet night next to some sheep. The toilet was clean. Overall a nice place to stay.

Ik was blij met Great spot, a walk away from the harbour, pubs, cafes, shops ect. The view was lovely, it was super quiet when we went so we had loads of room to ourselves!! The owner was really friendly and helpful. Facilities were minimal but exactly as described and kept clean and stocked.
