Springbok Campsite

Ik was blij met: Our first time camping so a little unsure of everything but there was no hassle or pressure. Facilities were adequate and within easy distance to all. Everyone we met, which wasn’t many were very friendly. We plan on revisiting again soon 😁

Ik was blij met: Lovely well kept site with very good facilities. Lots of hot water,very clean. Bar and small shop a real bonus

Ik was blij met: We have stayed here previously when it was all grass, but the hard standings are a great improvement - although getting awnings pegs in the ground required a pile driver! The site is easy to access and facilities are greatly improved by the addition of a washing up area and cute individual showers. It is a peaceful, calming site with stunning views set on a beautiful estate. From the site there are walking and cycling opportunities as well as stunning woodlands. Shopping opportunities are also within easy reach. We have used this site frequently over the last 20 years and would not hesitate to recommend it.

Ik was blij met: Well-defined pitches, spotless bathrooms, beautiful surroundings, and a very affordable pub (no food) just onsite). Second time for me.

Ik was blij met: Scenery was amazing. Lovely location

Ik was niet zo blij met: Facilities very basic Did not meet owners or staff. Would have been nice if someone came round to ensure everything was ok

Ik was blij met: It is peaceful. Pitch sizes were great. Toilets and kitchen clean. Able to go to bar if wanted to.

Ik was niet zo blij met: I think pitches need to be marked both sides not just the hard standing part. Hardly anyone knew which hard ground went with which grass area which was confusing. It needs to be clearer especially as there is nobody to help when arriving. There is nobody to speak to on arrival unless you ring. This is why I marked low for customer service.

Ik was niet zo blij met: Er kwamen ook 's nachts wel wat vliegtuigen over, maar dat geldt voor heel veel campings in dit gebied.

Van de manager: Personeel niet gezien - bedankt voor uw 8/10 beoordeling Excuses dat u geen personeel heeft gezien, maar omdat we een werkende liefdadigheidsinstelling zijn, hebben we in het weekend geen personeel op de camping. alles wordt georganiseerd via Pitchup.com, samen met instructies over wat en waar naartoe te gaan. Sorry dat dit je niet beviel, we doen ons best om het je naar de zin te maken, maar begrijpen dat we niet iedereen tevreden kunnen stellen. Het Springbok-team

We try to make the site as welcoming as possible without too much contact for a more relaxing peaceful stay. When looking into the lateness of the Welcome Instruction email, we can see that you only booked your stay with us on 25th April early am, the same day as you were arriving on site? Ik was blij met: Wonderful Campsite. Just a few hard standing touring pitches . Arrive and choose which one you fancy. Nice washing up “Cottage” had info pamphlets in there. Great walks from the site. Plus around the grounds and the fishing lake. The social club in the big house was great as well. Very friendly. Chatting to the residents . Very enjoyable stay. Absolutely will return !!!!!
