Ik was blij met: Open space and relaxed atmosphere. Clean facilities and hot showers and hot water in washing up sinks! No light polution and could see the stars at night :)

Ik was blij met: Amazing little hidden gem not far from our doorstep. Booked a week before we actually went as a last minute decision to get away. Tony was absolutely lovely and made us feel so welcome. Toilets and showers are the best I’ve experienced whilst camping. Despite close to the residential homes it was still a peaceful, relaxing environment to unwind with the family.

Ik was blij met: The washing facilities are excellent. Good location for seeing the local area which is lovely.

Ik was niet zo blij met: The camping field is uninspiring. Basically rough grass surrounded on three sides by housing for the elderly. Trees on one side but it’s far from a woodland experience. Also they close at 4 PM. Some Dutch people arrived and just ended up leaving because they couldn’t book in.

Ik was niet zo blij met: Might need levelling blocks on some pitches as ground a bit uneven in places. Also need xtra long hook up cable for some pitches

Ik was blij met: A lovely spacious pitch with very clean facilities. Tony the warden made us feel very welcome and offered help if needed. Nice and quiet. A perfect location for visiting the beautiful sites of Kent and East Sussex or for a stop over on your way to France. Sissinghurst Gardens and Great Dixter were our favourites. Don't miss the local brewery and tap room, just a short walk from the site and open late!
