Stockbridge View

Ik was blij met: Wonderful view over fields and watching the sun go down in the distance. Only booked one night stopover on way to Devon, but could easily have stayed longer. Good access from site to a public walk to take dog. Good toilet/shower facilities which were clean. Booking and check in done online. Owner walked around and came and checked with us that all was ok. Very peaceful. Passing road noise but minimal and ceased completely as the evening passed. Picnic benches dotted around were very handy, especially for campers without their own facilities.

Ik was blij met: How polite the owner was when I needed to call for the gate code. Shower block was amazing and we wished we could’ve stayed longer. Kitchen was great and easily accessible to where our tent was. 10/10 all round

Ik was niet zo blij met: The campers next to us had 2 dogs that reacted to ours when I was walking back to our tent. Lot of barking but kept my dog in a lead so we could steer clear. Things like this cannot be helped by the owner

Ik was blij met: This was our first time away in our recently converted campervan and what a great time we had. After one of our dogs had a recent operation we just needed a bit of R&R and Stockbridge View was definitely the place. It is a great site, very clean and tidy and the toilets were immaculate with plenty of toilet paper. We had a hardstanding pitch, which had its own picnic table and plenty of space around it. The field itself was a large flat open space and was very well looked after with recently cut grass and no grass cuttings. There was a washing up area, that had everything you needed. They even supplied freezer blocks, to be returned. For a small sight you couldn’t of asked for anymore. There is a lovely lane that you can walk down into Stockbridge which is safe for the dogs off lead. The road could be a bit noisy in the daytime, but it is a main road…. I would highly recommend this site to anyone, we will definitely be back.

Ik was blij met: Loved the scenery, gorgeous. The toilets were outstanding, very clean and a big enclosed purpose built building. Very nice people too

Ik was blij met: Clean .. tidy site with showers toilets washing up room all facilities except EHU.. lovely owners ,lovely walk to pretty town of Stockbridge plenty of room and rubbish bins

Ik was blij met: We felt very safe at Stockbridge View . The key pad code system was very modern.

Ik was niet zo blij met: The site is very close to the road but the road wasn't to busy but still a little noisy and being at the site in early summer meant the tree boundary line was nice and full of leaves which gave both visual and sound protection from the road.

Ik was blij met: Amazing little site! It was our second visit and we can’t wait to book again. Spacious clean camp with lovely facilities and the BEST camping showers I’ve ever used. Lovely little washing up area to and they now have the added bonus of a phone charging station! The small touches the owners add really bring the site to life. Ample picnic benches, sponges and sprays in the washing up area and even a book nook. Lots of easy to use bins and water points. Highly recommend to anyone. Lovely dog walk into town as well and super close to a national trust walk!!
