Morelands Copse Camping

Ik was blij met: It is a place which has all the potential to take you bake tot basics, a place where you can learn to enjoy the silence or the nature, something that most of us seem to have forgotten. Each of the forest places is well chosen nd has its own intimacy. My daughter enjoy it, even if there was no playground. We made barbecues, marshmallows, we painted, we did origami and she learnt how to set up a tent and to make a fire. No phones, no tablets. Liked the idea of the "honesty shop". Well stocked.

Ik was niet zo blij met: A large group of guys was camped in the nearby spots and played rave music loud for the first night until 2:30a.m. The second night volume slightly lower. Luckily my daughter was able to sleep alright. Not me. The next night they were a bit more considerate, but then a family which just arrived started playing loud arabic music and other genres in the evening. Why come to places like this to do that? Just go to a concert. Maybe a rule regarding loud music would help. Sound propagates really loud in paaceful places like these. Toilets also need a bit of improvement. In my opinion the existing ones are not enough. Parking also needs some work. In wet weather not great.

Ik was blij met: I loved the wheel barrows at the car park site. This made our day not having to lug our entire car's worth of stuff across the site. There are so many areas to have have a fire as well as smaller fire pits you can borrow.

Ik was niet zo blij met: This is not a dislike more of a suggestion to add a sign for areas that are prone to flood/water log, where you can pitch anywhere.

Ik was blij met: The feeling of the place. It was great, really relaxed and ideal for back to nature camping! The host was incredibly helpful and welcoming

Ik was blij met: Very welcoming and easily contactable host. Peaceful and equally luxurious off grid location.

Ik was blij met: We stayed in the two bell tents in the ‘secret garden’ for a birthday camp out. The pitch was magical, the woods were full of bluebells and we had a wonderful time. Very peaceful, very child friendly (and properly off grid). Dan was so helpful and friendly. We loved the communal camp kitchen and the campfire… and we’ll be coming back again.

Ik was blij met: Hands down the best campsite We have ever stayed at. Was the first time camping for my friends and this place now their minds. It was a little slice of heaven, felt like we were just in the middle of the woods, so peaceful and allowed us all tp shut off from the world. The woodlands were filled with incredible quirks particularly the wiggly Tinned shower - this truly felt incredibly (was in a heat wave so helped).

Ik was niet zo blij met: Only one thing that would of improved our stay was a better toilet situation however this did not affect how much we loved the place.

Ik was niet zo blij met: Site is run down No clear instructions on arrival Pitches aren't like the pictures on here Toilets had no loo roll nor were cleaned in the 3 days I was there Grass was long Doo poo in field

Ik was blij met: The attention to detail, the Honesty shop, the kitchen and materials provided for Children. Safety and being/feeling secure! Answered any questions and answered the phone first time if we needed anything! Large pitches! (Forest) Wonderful cause!

Ik was niet zo blij met: Difficulty finding initially and confusion what to do when arrive but dont let this out you off! Even though it clearly states around site to take your rubbish home with you some inconsiderate campers had filled the wheel borrows and the area around them with bags full of rubbish and we were unable to use the provided wheel borrows for our ease.
