Ik was blij met: Lovely quiet site with plenty of space. Very friendly, helpful manager who made sure I knew the best walking route to the pub.

Ik was blij met: The facilities were adequate and clean, including hot water. The farm is beautiful and the animals were a lovely bonus. The owner was very accommodating and friendly, and would definitely stay again, great for walks too.

Ik was blij met: I had a wonderful experience camping here, an absolutely ideal spot to pitch up tent as the ground was moist and mostly flat, so very easy to get set up. The views were lovely, as the sky was starry at night and very green & sunny in the day. The owner was lovely and accommodating as they promptly helped me get settled in as well as helping with firewood later on. They recommended good walking areas as well as a fantastic local pub nearby (The Five Bells) which was honestly delicious food. The camping facilities were great, hot and cold water, good setup of toilets, showers & wash sink areas. Really very good quality. I only wish I could have stayed longer, but I definitely will again at some point.

Ik was blij met: Very warm welcome. Fire pit and wood delivery. Great setting, good view, large pitches. Camels :)

Ik was blij met: The site was well kept, the additional services like pizza and coffee were fantastic, lovely stay!

Ik was niet zo blij met: The pitch we were given was always in the shade which was a bit of a shame, as there was space it would have been placed elswhere

Ik was blij met: Loved the size of the pitch and that you provided the fire pit. The place had a great feel to it and the staff were so so friendly. We absolutely loved it, had the best time! Showers were super cool by the way they were open so the sun was on your skin as you’re washing! Amazing!

Ik was niet zo blij met: The only shame was the No music, but we understood and didn’t need it anyway. No hot water at the washing up tap. Toilets very close together, didn’t feel very private.

Ik was blij met: - Facilities decent - plentsy of toilets/sinks and apparently showeres warm -Great extras (coffee van, pizza's for sale, drinks delivery to pitch, fire pits available) - Animals on site (Alpacas, Sheep, Camels) - Walking distance to pub and playground - Good walks

Ik was blij met: A lovely campsite. Grass pitches with individual fire pits. Facilities basic but also rather charming. Showers and washing up station dependant on solar power so on a dull day was quite cold but it certainly woke me up! I loved the lake and the alpacas and camels. Great dog walks. Friendly and helpful staff and Philip the owner kindly helped some teenagers set up camp on a wet and windy Sunday night.

Ik was blij met: Owner is really nice and very helpful, location is great for long walks etc and campsite is clean.

Ik was niet zo blij met: For the cost there are very few facilities, only one toilet block. There isn’t much to do for young children, no park or anything unless you’re on a walk. Expensive for what it is.

Van de manager: Thank you for your review. Odd that you say there is only one toilet block? There are two with a total of 7 toilets (all flushing) and two urinals? All cleaned and maintained regularly by myself. We don't say there is a park for children? We are not allowed to have a play area due to council restrictions? The majority of children play in the woods without issue. There is a public play area 8 mins walk from the campsite?
