Moss Rose Campsite

Ik was blij met: Fabulous!!! The most perfect camp site! The most warmest greeting we have ever had by the friendliest hosts! Amenities were great, warm showers, toilets, washing area, chemical toilet waste desposal, microwave, fridge freezer and a bosh coffee machine to name a few. We were also able to enjoy our fire pit and they provided a cool shop of sorts that worked on a honesty system. The shop provided everything you could need and even included sheep food so we could have the pleasure of feeding them. The camp spots were all individually marked and surrounded by long grass for privacy. The area was very quiet and hand woodland walks near by. Would definitely recommend and will be returning! Ik was blij met: The little shop on site and the way the pitches were marked out.. The picnic table was really good quality and we would recommend renting. Good for kids with small play area.

Ik was niet zo blij met: Some of the kids play equipment was a little outdated and could do a with a refresh, nothing major though.

Ik was blij met: Loved the wild feeling of the campsite with the long grass and the wildflowers separating the pitches. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. This was a great site for our 5-year-old to play safely with other children in the play area in the middle of the site. Thank yo for a lovely weekend.

Ik was blij met: I came with my fiancé first time I’ve ever been camping. What an amazing experience. Owners were super friendly, it was peaceful and the tent was gorgeous (we stayed in poppy bell tent) had a great time was so chilled and nice to get away. There’s loads of wildlife that thrives there and it’s amazing to see. It was so nice to just switch off and relax would definitely go again.

Ik was blij met: Wir hatten das Vergnügen, auf diesem fantastischen Campingplatz zu übernachten und waren von Anfang bis Ende begeistert. Der Platz bietet viel Raum, sodass man sich nie eingeengt fühlt und ausreichend Privatsphäre hat. Alles ist äußerst sauber und gut gepflegt, was den Aufenthalt besonders angenehm macht. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die freundlichen und aufmerksamen Betreiber, die immer zur Stelle sind und dafür sorgen, dass es den Gästen an nichts fehlt. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Ik was blij met: Everything! Nice and quiet camping in individual bays. The owner was super friendly and accommodating. Toilets were spotless and the little huts with supplies were a great idea. Giant hares running around all afternoon too.

Ik was niet zo blij met: Probably could do with a few more loos for when it gets busier but really nothing to complain about.

Ik was blij met: Lovely little campsite in a great location. I liked the fact that you can choose your own pitch space and not be pitched too close to other campers so you can have privacy. The owner was lovely and he was very welcoming and gave us a lot of information and helpful tips. My kids loved staying over. The honesty shop is also a nice touch incase you need essentials, forget anything from home or want to buy your little kids a treat. We will definitely be back again very soon!
