Deze camping biedt een ontspannen, basic boerderijervaring met vriendelijke eigenaren. Gasten prijzen de rustige locatie, ruime plekken, nabijheid van een pub en boerderijwinkel. Faciliteiten zijn basic maar functioneel, met nieuwe toiletten/douches in aanbouw. Ondanks af en toe wat opmerkingen over netheid, keren velen graag terug voor de gastvrijheid en goede prijs.

Pump House staanplaats voor een tent op gras , met elektriciteit (klein)
Ik was blij met We stayed on the pump house pitch-electric hook up, close to the toilets and shower. We stayed bank holiday weekend and they had a little bar and food cabin, which was great. Had a bit of a festival vibe. We walked round the grass pitch areas -no electric - which were lovely. There’s also a little pond to walk round.
Ik was niet blij met I wouldn’t say I disliked anything other than there being one shower for the whole of the site. It’s push button activated and doesn’t stay on long at all. Bit hard work when trying to shower myself and kids 7&8. Our pitch was in what would have been the farm yard so there is a lot of concrete but there was a great view of the field with cattle in it and you could see the motorway in the far distance. Bit noisy of a night time with music but I wear earplugs so didn’t disturb my sleep.
Instructions could have been clearer where to find the electric hook up (under a beer keg). This was resolved with a phone call to the owner who picked up straight away. He was very pleasant on the phone.

Van de manager: Thanks Lita. We are opening a bar for most weekends in 2026. So hopefully we can offer a social space to guests and locals. We miss the pub too 😥

Ik was blij met Nothing.
Ik was niet blij met Awful facilities. Toilets dirty, shower dirty. All we stopped for was a decent shower and we couldn’t have one. In the dark nothing was clear or signposted.

Van de manager: We do try our best, but in this case our customer service let us down and we do apologise. All customers normally get a welcome message and site map via WhatsApp but we failed to provide one on this occasion. Customer had booked at 6.40pn on day of arrival and arrived after 9pm after our stated latest arrival. We do try and accommodate last minute bookings and late arrivals but as a micro campsite a full time reception is impossible. With a quick call or WhatsApp to our site manager we can resolve almost all issues and ensure a pleasant stay at the site.

Ik was blij met Very friendly site who are considerate of clients. Set up a pop up bar for the evening to give some rest bite from storm David. Van got stuck on grass pitch ground following day and Rick was quick to give a hand. Offered a hard standing following eve to help even though I hadn’t booked this option. W/C was clean, site quite and convenient to find 5 minutes to motorway.

Ik was blij met Spacious pitches and very peaceful on this site owner Rick is very helpful and you can either bring your own fire pit or rent one for £5,site also sells nets of logs which is helpful,also an on site pop up bar which owner opens when weather is bad
Ik was niet blij met Not a dislike as such but pub nearby has closed down and no nearby shops for supplies so need to be stocked up

Ik was niet blij met Our pitch was parked up against a wall(lovely view) no where to walk the dogs so don’t know why you charge extra to take them, very cluttered around the area with rubbish, noisy with kids running riot around the site un attended… knocking on our door asking silly questions whilst parents in the bar getting tanked up… I was so grateful for the storm last night so the kids wasn’t left out till daft o clock.

Van de manager: Hi Jenny, thanks for visiting. We are sorry you were not satisfied with your pitch. We were not made aware of any of your issues, so are saddened we were not given the chance to assist you. At check in you asked about a dog run and we directed to a large fenced space. We also benefit from a public footpath that runs through the farm to the deer field, quiet country lanes, and the lancaster canal with its towpath. We pride ourself on being litter free but the storm may have caused issues with guest rubbish the day after. I am aware that some guests had been to the nearby Blackpool zoo and got a teddy capybara, which had gone missing and they made enquiries at all pitches, their parents to my knowledge were in their motor home all evening. Look out for our Adults only weekends on our social media.
