After a day trying your luck on Blackpool pier’s amusements or tackling the waves at the town’s wake park, Grange Farm Caravan will be a splendid retreat from the lively scenes. This is an excellent place to get your Blackpool excitement and your countryside fix all at once, as the seaside town is just 25 minutes’ drive away. The farm site is in the Wyre area, under six miles from Poulton-le-Fylde. Dogs are welcome, as are families, and there are firepits for hire for those who’d like to see off the day with a campfire. There’s a country pub 10 minutes’ walk away in Stalmine, so don’t worry if you get a craving for a cider, a proper coffee or a homecooked meal. The site also has its own eggs for sale, so mornings can start sunny side up with a fried egg breakfast over the fire (over bread from the shop in the village, which is also 10 minutes’ walk away, perhaps?). If you don’t quite fancy driving down to Blackpool or Lancaster (which is also nearby) there’s a handy bus stop a short walk away from the farm with links to both destinations. And for morning walks? Well, there’s plenty of countryside around or the Wyre Estuary Country Park is a splendid waterside setting only 20 minutes’ drive away.

Rustige, goed onderhouden camping met schone basisvoorzieningen en ruime plekken. Vriendelijk personeel, boerderijdieren en een handige zelfbedieningswinkel. Veel gasten prijzen de uitstekende prijs-kwaliteitverhouding en handige locatie. Minpunten zijn het gebrek aan douches en soms geluidsoverlast.

Ik was blij met Loved everything about this site, plenty of space for each tent, toilet block was kept nice and clean next to it was a lovely shop where you can hire a fire pit buy eggs, pop, sweets and more. They had some small animals which you could buy feed for them. This site is definitely somewhere you can relax and enjoy

Ik was blij met Really affordable place to camp, large pitches with lots of space, nice and clean toilets, beautiful location, very cute farm animals to feed- £1 for animal feed! Very cute little shop selling snacks, BBQs, fire pits to rent ect. All very cheap and reasonably priced. Amazing would recommend, will definitely stay here again

Ik was blij met 2nd time been to the camp site. Very quiet area . Close to shops if needed. Clean facilities.

Ik was blij met Loved how peaceful it was! Having the sheep right at the side was lovely too! Had plenty of space inbetween the pitches!

Ik was niet blij met Didn’t dislike anything! Probably the only thing that let it down for us was no showers but no real big issue as we only went for one night!

Ik was blij met We love Grange Farm and visit quite regularly. It's a lovely site, you're left to your own devices. The Wobbly Shop is great for eggs, sweeties and other bits, and you can rent fire pits (or use your own if you have one). Wood and kindling is super reasonably priced. The toilet block is good (although no shower). Lovely sunsets can be seen from all pitches.

Close to local amenities, near to a really good takeaway (Wyre Takeout in Hambleton). Morrisons local and dog friendly pub within walking distance.

Ik was blij met Toilets always clean. Owner responded promptly to my queries I had about arrival. There's a local Morrisons shop and pub 10mins walk from site. Our motorhome pitch was in a good separated location on a flat level hard standing pitch next to a hedge. If you want you can hire wood burners and sacks of logs or kindling for your BBQ via an honesty box. Grass had been cut recently too.

Ik was blij met We went for a two night stay and took up 3 electric point pitches with 3 tents. It was a lovely site. Clean toilet facilities and the wobbly shop is a nice touch. We knew there was no shower block and for two nights this was fine. Beautiful clean site and being able to feed the goats was an added bonus.

Kids are likely to love this one – Farmer Parrs Animal World (20 minutes’ drive) runs pony, train and tractor rides, as well as being home to jumping pillows and an animal farm with rare breeds. Blackpool Zoo (25 minutes) is another attraction for those wanting to meet some new creatures. The zoo has giraffes, orangutans and elephants among its residents. What might you get stuck into in Blackpool? Well, Blackpool Pleasure Beach (half an hour) has steep rollercoasters and a variety of less fearsome rides for those not quite up to the big rides. There’s plenty of action along the seafront in the form of amusement arcades and watersports. For a truly watersports-dedicated setting, Blackpool Wake Park (20 minutes) runs activities like paddleboarding, kayaking and wakeboarding. To the east, those seeking a little time in the moors and valleys can head into the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (half an hour). To the south, Lytham Hall (half an hour) has 78 acres of parkland, all part of an 18th-century mansion where there are hall tours.
