Ik was blij met Everything. amazing clean camp, host wonderful their children so polite and helpful. The stream, the hills, the pizza, the birds . just totally perfect place to stay, will 100% return

Ik was blij met Fantastic little campsite tucked away in the woods. We were greeted on arrival and given all the info we needed including where to head on lovely walk, and where to find a great roast! Facilities were also immaculate.

6min walk to a lovely waterfall and dip spot

Ik was niet blij met No one to meet us on arrival so had no idea which pitch to park in.
Electric went in kitchen/shower so had to have a strip wash after a wild dip in a bowl - not that easy with a baby.
Water went the next morning so couldn’t have a wash or brush teeth.
Gravel wasn’t gravel it was rocks so not safe for baby or my van tires.
£30 for a midweek non EHU expensive

Van de manager: Hi Kerry, thanks for your review :) We had staff on site to direct people to bays as I have a young family and unfortunately cannot be on site all of the time. Unfortunately, the power cut we experienced was for the whole of the village and not something that we could control, but I understand the inconvenience of this. The hardstanding that we have on our van pitches is just a normal hardcore, but in all honesty, hardcore isn't my specialism :) Aside from that, your photos look lovely and hopefully you enjoyed sitting round the fire in the evening and waking up to the birdsong in the morning. Ik was blij met We really enjoyed our visit! It was hard to believe we were just minutes from the town- such a stunning spot.
It was my kids' first time camping, with ages 7,9, and 13, and they absolutely loved it. It's a perfect place to dip your toes in the water and try something new.

The facilities here really help make everything comfortable- there's an on-site shower, toilets, a kettle, toaster, microwave, and a small fridge freezer.

The woodland and the river at the bottom provide plenty of space for kids to play and explore.

There's a local shop just four minutes' drive away for supplies, which came in handy on the hottest day of the year- we enjoyed some ice creams together!

Ik was blij met We loved camping in the woods. It felt we were miles away from civilization but we where only 1/2 mile away from the nearest village. I love pretty much everything about the site

Ik was blij met Lovely quiet setting. Was given a bigger pitch as it was available. Short walk from dog friendly gastro pub where food was great. Good hot water. Great barbecuing facilities . Nice other campers who seemed to be regulars. Good walking facilities for dogs if you can work out where they are ( signage not good)

Ik was niet blij met Was told I would be met on arrival but no-one was there and had no information about which pitch to go on or the combination for the toilets.when I telephoned no one was available , though someone did get back to me fairly quickly after leaving a message. Only one shower and two toilets ( one in same room as shower). There were only two other pitches taken so with us 3 but any busier the limited bathroom facilities would have been a problem. There were lots of signs everywhere saying ‘ no entry’ which made it feel a bit unfriendly

Ik was blij met Great communication. Didn’t get to stay as unfortunate circumstances prevented me from doing so. Will try it again in due course.

Ik was blij met Such a special campsite. It really feels like you are wild camping in the woods, yet you also have all the facilities you need.

Situated in woodland and completely quiet, we had an amazing week here.

Staff are really friendly and a kettle and microwave are also provided free of charge.

I also highly recommend the pizzas if you are here on a Friday night. They are really amazing.

Ik was niet blij met If you dislike it here, I really don't think camping is for you.

Ik was blij met Lovely campsite that is like being in the woods with all big trees around you.
Very clean and everything you could want.
Close to 2 small pubs but very nice one 20 mins walk. Free fire pits. A nice cosy site.

Ik was niet blij met They allow group bookings which we found annoying with music and screeching till very late but to be fair owners were contactable straight away and dealt with problem guests straight away. Couldn't fault them.

Van de manager: Hi Amanda, thank you for your review 🙂 we don't actually allow group bookings, the 4 people in question had booked as 2 adults (as they were over 18) and 2 children (as they were under 18). Unfortunately, with an online booking system, this is difficult to monitor. Rest assured, we have never had this issue before and it was definitely a learning curve for us. I dealt with the issue immediately, and thankfully they calmed down after 😊 Thanks, Jessy
