Ik was blij met location was great and the amenities were good. very laid back and chilled.

Ik was niet blij met is on a steep slope which was annoying at times as things would slide off tables. the road next to it is loud and can make it hard to sleep along with the noise of the stream. only two toilets and showers so often a que. didn’t even meet a single staff member and anyone could pitch anywhere so was very disorganised.

Ik was niet blij met We contacted the owners prior to arriving because the weather forecast was so bad and we wanted to pitch up earlier to avoid the rain. 3 phone calls later no answer and no way of leaving a message as the mailbox was full. I then emailed them again no response. We arrived to a sign saying if you had paid in advance pitch up anywhere. You could have just arrived and pitched up as we saw no one for the whole time we were there. The field was awful the grass was really long and there were grass cuttings from the last time the field was cut so the grass was everywhere. The facilities were not good. No locks on the toilet and no toilet paper. I knew it was basic when I booked it but there is basic and basic. The weather was that bad we actually left on the Saturday but from start to finish the whole experience at this campsite was awful.

Ik was blij met Shower block more than adequate. Location is fab.

Ik was niet blij met Other human beings who allow their dog to defecate on the site. In the same location. Multiple times. Dogs toilet. Foul people.
Also the other human beings who defecate all over the toilet seat and don’t clean up after themselves. Foul people.
Poor owners have the dehumanising job of cleaning up after these people.

Ik was blij met Very basic site but it's a bargain price. Simple toilets, showers and was facilities. We stayed on the top field, it does have a slope, but if you choose wisely it has little impact. Great location for getting out and about.

Ik was blij met Peaceful and Well-Maintained Campsite 🌳

We really enjoyed our stay at Low Hollows campsite from 27 to 29 June. The site is peaceful, surrounded by beautiful nature, and offers a great escape from the hustle and bustle. Facilities were clean and well looked after, and the pitches were nicely spaced for privacy and comfort.


Overall, a fantastic spot to unwind, and we’d happily come back. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Ik was niet blij met The only minor downside was arriving just after the grass had been freshly mowed—it looked tidy, but the loose clippings did get into the tent and made things a bit messy. Nothing major, just something to keep in mind.

Ik was blij met Gorgeous views. Minimal facilities but had everything that we needed. Super close to Keswick and lots of walks near by. Owners also very easy to contact via email and received response almost immediately!

Ik was niet blij met Can get busy in toilets/ dishwashing area at times.
